For Witch Watch Episode 11:

Honestly, they covered their ground well here considering it was 4 chapters they covered. What really helped is that the conversation between Nemu, Nico & Moi happens through chapters 21+22 where Kan also encounters Wolf, so it flows well. Plus, I really liked that they were able to get a good amount of world building on. It's def a more dense episode than we got so far for the anime.

There was a lot in this episode. As it was surprisingly dense. As a manga reader, this episode was fantastic.

The first was the distinction between Witches vs Warlock. Think of it less as females and males. But similar to Star Wars light side vs dark side. As it was mentioned, no warlocks should be in the present, but witches can become Warlocks. We also got further information regarding Nico. She possesses 1000 spells & will save 1000 people. Essentially, she is special among witches.

Also interesting to note how Nico is more the exception to revealing she is a witch. Both Nemu & Moi hid their origins. Well, Moi did until Nico came back.

The twist that Keigo is Wolf was executed very well. There were def hints, plus Keigo was always alone. Basically, Keigo has always been shown as a lone wolf. Plus his last name gives a clue as well. Though Keigo clearly has his reasons for helping the Warlock. Though Wolf being able to beat Kan def makes him a force to be concerned with. The worst part is that Moi is isolated from Nico.

What you were saying about Loser ranger is finally coming to a head @tripleaamin

Apparently this arc has been damn near 10 manga chapters being squeezed into one episode and they cut out multiple pivotal characters for the next arc because the anime may not be getting renewed?

I have no idea why you would do this with a show, seems like intentional sabotage, so much shyt happened today that would normally be spread out between like 3-4 episodes

Japan fukking hates this anime. Mostly, they hate how the Sentai are portrayed. They should have just done a 2 cour in just season that adapted till when it is revealed who the Green Keeper was.

This is just them trying to get to the most interesting shyt and hoping people jump on the manga. It prob works. Though even if they did jump to the manga they would be so confused because it's so much happening in so little time.

I doubt it works if they basically cut out people who move the next arcs, like you said people would be confused as fukk

People are already confused at the past 2 episodes with how everything went from 0 to 300 in a flash :skip: I had to double back and see if I missed episodes or something, it's complete chaos out there with everyone scraping

Kaede's memory loss is definitely a sensitive topic. As I said in the last episode, it is easy for someone to get bullied to surpass traumatic memories. Though what makes the situation even worse is what happened to Sakuta's mother. Her case very much resembles the mother who is trying to help her daughter overcome her trauma of being bullied. It reaches a level that it becomes too much. Which then leads to the scars on Sakuta.

We haven't really seen too much on Sakuta's side yet, but this more so highlights the importance of Shoko. You can only imagine what Sakuta was going through. Sister losing her memories after being bullied. Mother suffering from mental illness. This was something that their father couldn't handle on his own. Shoko able to help Sakuta enough so that Sakuta takes care of Kaede & the father takes care of the mother was a major deal.

This episode has really shown how great of a brother Sakuta is. Dealing with Kaede in terms of letting her accomplish her goals, but not overdoing it is hard. His support for his sister was great. Smart of him to get Kaede to go to school while it is at night as we know how she can get to be scared being around people. Now instead of going from no school to attending school with everyone in attendance. It is now no school → school with no students around → school with students around. Yurika Kubo doing a fantastic job at showcasing the differences in Kaede when her memories return. She definitely feels mature then the Kaede we are used to.

Finished my rewatch for AoButa S1/ "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai". Honestly, more so in my 2nd viewing, I noticed the flaws in the storytelling. There are two sides to the series. A coming of age story & supernatural aspect. The former is very well down and each arc shows growth from Sakuta & the girls in different ways. However, the supernatural parts of the story are there for sake, unlike in Monogatari. It gives the reputation of being a poor man's Monogatari, when it's a pretty solid series in its own right.

Prob give it a 7.5/10

With Kaede gaining all the memories that she lost back when Sakuta mentioned. Honestly, for Kaede herself, this is great news. However, how Sakuta takes it is a bit interesting. Essentially, Sakuta felt like a parent to the Kaede we knew. You can't blame him for thinking he couldn't do anything for. After all one morning, Kaede remembered her old memories. He did everything he could for his little sister and thinking if one's efforts are forgotten is a scary feeling. The thing is, Kaede still needs her brother. Imagining what you would do after a timer period of no memories can be terrifying. The diary is important because it showed what Kaede wanted when she lost her memories. The end of the episode shows that where Kaede carries the torch from that Kaede while being more in line with who she is.

It was good that Shoko was able to cheer him up. Though it just makes who are Shoko even creepier. Considering only the younger Shoko was seen by others while the older one Sakuta only saw. It would make sense that the younger one is the true Shoko. But how did Sakuta imagine an older Shoko before meeting the real one is quite odd still?

Sakuta has done a lot for Mai. Considering on the one night that Sakuta needed Mai the most, and she wasn't there. Obviously, that wasn't her fault or Sakuta. It leaves a guilty feeling that you can empathize with. I guess it leaves to wonder what Mai will do because her job leaves her quite busy and Sakuta also wants her to continue working.

Breh saying this after all the Solo leveling glazing :deadrose:
TBAH had like 4 protagonist this season…. And all 4 of them combined could equal an 1/8th of Jinwoo

there wasn’t one fight better than one of the random side fights in SL

Dont do this Boss…..

Performance reviews go both ways:ufdup:

Also, I’m gonna address this dumb silly snake shyt too, why can’t I have a valid point or separate opinion?

When many of yall like or hate shyt it’s cool but to some (or in some cases) if I do the same thing ”he trynna get attention“.

Man FOH

Admittedly, I play around I joke but it’s harmless and just fun community banter that 90% recognize and give back. But some of yall 10% folks are a$$holes.

Been binging Black Clover lately. Heard a lot about it for a while, also that it once was considered a Big 3 contender. Don't know how true that is but I'm about 30 episodes and I like it.
