Essential What Anime are you currently watching?
As a light novel it's on par with the other modern good ones like Roshidere, Chitose, and Tomozaki. It's basically a hybrid combo of Re:Life / Remake Our Life! and Tomozaki.
Guy was an outcast in high school and one day wakes up and gets to do it over and sets out to be a Chad that gets the hottest girl in school. He's still an introvert at his core though but he fights through it.

Looks like with the recap movie there are parts from volume 9. Very curious how they go to adapt it.
Also, the fact that Dali Chen is directing it with Hiroaki Akagi is big. Chen being a big part of TYBW Part 3 and from a technical aspect, it was as good as you get in anime
