Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

Watched 2 new shows.

First being "Detectives These Days Are Crazy!". This one looks like batshyt crazy Detective Comedy. With the focus being on the comedy. HanaKana & Junichi Suwabe do an insane job with the leads. You can tell by episode one if you will love it or not with how you feel about the comedy in the 2nd half of the episode. I enjoyed the first episode

Masakuni Igarashi is the creator who wrote Senryuu Shoujo & Mayonaka Heart Tune so I have confidence in this one even after the comedy.



The second being "Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show". For a VR Video Game themed it's a bit crazy. It seems it is closer to SAO than SLF in terms of lives being at stake. The games in which they played were interesting and the animation is expressive.

Now if Crunchyroll can not use AI-generated Subs that would be great. As this seems like an interesting original.

Damn, this one had a great start. Interesting plus great world building as a dark fantasy to boot.

We're having one of the Four Lords of the Dark Beasts looking after a baby. I really like the execution of Klen because he is an a$$hole, but it really feels natural. He is a fukking Dark beast. Human morals mean nothing to him. I do wonder throughout the story how he could evolve because many times, having children can change someone. Even in her awful situation, Alicia does at least have a goal of keeping Luna safe. It makes both Klen & Alicia have agency in the story.

Honestly, Alicia is at rock bottom, but it really sells this well as a dark fantasy. How does she make the best out of the situation is interesting because her situation is so fukked.

Also, big shoutouts to the world building, it was excellent here. As the world around Edthea is dark and unknown thanks to those dark beasts. The main races being.

Dunes, which are split into two nations Eslinn & Boelate. Boelate nation seems to be more in play since we saw them already. Closest to typical humans.
Origttes are basically Ogres. It makes me curious if Klen would be considered an Origgites.
Sladians are basically an underwater group, but given that they dislike association with other races. Makes me curious if they see Klen's true form.
Benti are just barbarians. They are definitely going to be annoying to deal with.
Last we have Hideneans, which is Luna's race. They hold the key to crafting weapons. I wonder if the one alive is a knight or a prince maybe?

Klen is definetly interesting because it feels partially intention he let them capture him & Alicia to help travel. Curious where they end up.

Watched two new shows.

The first being New Saga, which basically has after dying to the Demon Lord's army, the mc is able to travel back in time from before the fighting occurred. Solid first episode and the visual direction of the episode was good. Though the Mc's decision-making will make or break this show.

The second being "Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse". Which is an anime original by David Productions. Tbh you can feel it bites a lot from Re:Zero. Between being able to go back in time like at the end of the episode. Mc's one and only dedication to being the heroine of the story. There are interesting parts to it, but it wasn't bad nor good. Animation isn't the best that I have seen from David Prod, but still was solid I would say.

Just seen the latest 2 episodes of fire force......this shyt is getting dumb who TF is that weird guy that can play with gravity :dahell:

on a quick rewatch Lord of Mysteries aint that confusing yet

beyonders start off at sequence 9 and go up to sequence 0 to be god mode

each sequence has it's own potion so you gotta go ingredient farming to level up

you could go crazy after taking the potion so alot of em died like that

the Nighthawks already have the ingredients for the entire Sleepless skill branch so alot of them are gonna have similar abilities, Klein/Zhou took the Seer sequence and of course they don't have the recipes for any of the higher levels for that branch.



Klein/Zhou clearly already had powers before because he immediately did some high level shyt on accident summoning those 2 other Beyonders in training

and the Nighthawks recruited him with minimal questioning so they already know something about him
