Man Tubro Granny always got me rolling 
NGL the prescreening for the first few episodes flowed so well. Feels weird to stop after one episode as this arc flows well.
Man I loved the sound direction for the adpatation. It is always on point.
I just hope since Toho bought them that they don't overload them with shows. I want them to be the next Trigger or Shaft rather than Cloverworks. As S1 adaptation was some super standout stuff that you would see like Shaft in their peak.
Cloverworks has NINE high-budget anime this year.

Hopefully Lazarus is the last chance adult swim is gonna get with all of that budget (i guess not since ninja kamui got season 2)

The worst part of this one is that the animation looked really solid from what I have seen. Obviously, it ain't gonna be JJK & CSM level animation from Mappa, but better than Mappa AoT (Final Season Part One + Part Two. Not talking about the specials) animation & Hells Paradise. in Hells Paradise still pisses me off. That shyt looked like it came from a C level studio. The art of the manga is top tier and seeing that was depressing af.

and Lazarus was definitely top level Mappa quality the whole time, but they can't save a bad plot or go against what the director tryna do

Watched two new seasonals. The first is "Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!". I didn't realize this was the typical Banished from Hero's party. Although it does feel better then the average slop on that. The Mc is cool in my books. He took being banished and was like fukk you I'm off basically. Slavery seems to be in every fantasy, but they did a good job at getting you to understand why he empathized for Atelier and when he bought and freed her. Hopefully, this leans more into cooking and food then an actual fantasy series.
The other was "Kamitsubaki City Under Construction". While I think the setting is interesting and seems a bit darker than I expected. Also, the cast is about VTubers, so it looks to be song oriented. Though the 3D CGI is not bad, but the lack of expressionmight be an issue. It could be decent, maybe.

I mean I usually watched 3-4 episodes per day tops which is like 60-90 mins tops. Start of each season I try seeing stuff and what sticks. So I do watch more at the start of a new season. I don’t finish half of the seasonal anime I try anymore.
I remember a few years ago I did try to finish every show I watched. That shyt was awful
Tho binging Monogatari was really the only time when I went on a crazy anime binge. Binging an arc every day or two.
