The epilogue is one I had to think about for a minute because Shisui carried so much of the weight of the Shi clan before she got shot. Basically, aimed to root out the evil at one spot as the previous episodes mentioned.

I think as long as the character Loulan is dead, I think I can live with it. It is still plot armor plot assuming the hairpin blocked the lethal shot on her torso and since the other one was around her arm/shoulder, which should be non-lethal plus. Also, she fell in snow and there is a case she could have survived the fall. While I love how the show shows you rather than tells you, this stuff is a bit too subtle imo and could be easy to miss.

Plus, she has been a character that was bound as the doll Loulan for so long that it feels nice for her to live her life how she wanted to. I liked the emotional impact of the final scene.

I think I like it, but closer to feeling mixed about it then loving it if I had to say.

as long as the character doesn't return I'd be ok with it. I just feel like Mao Mao losing her is turning point that would lose a lot of weight if Shisui returns. The epilogue made it seem she's leaving for good ("what's beyond the sea") so at least there's that.

Jinshi's harpin being sold anyways is jreh hasn't had a personal W in the entire show I think

I have watched the first episode of "Secrets of the Silent Witch". It was a great first episode. It looks like it will adapt the first 3 books judging from the pacing of this episode.

I don't know how much of the staff of Konosuba is here, but Takaomi Kanasaki directing gives me lots of confidence. Honestly, the comedy direction with Monica was absolutely on point with her reactions to Louis. Also loved Nero talking to her, and he has a point that she should know who the person that she is supposed to be guarding look like.

Atsumi Tanezaki doing an impressive job with voicing Isabelle. Switching between Isabelle's normal voice with her doing the villainess impersonation was great. Also, the animation was wonderful too in both the scenes with the dragons and when Monica was using her magic when she was with Louis.

Can't wait to see more.

This light novel is top tier. The only problem people might have with it is it's a borderline reverse harem with a female character surrounded by mostly males.

Solo Levelling worth watching?

I would say so. It's a pure action power fantasy. It has some of the best fight scenes of the year and the animation is very good. Don't go into show expecting an in depth plot or interesting characters. It's more about the action, but they do it in an entertaining way to keep viewers engaged. The show is kinda hated on at the moment because it's one of the most popular shows.

Great finish for Apothecary Diaries S2. Right with Apocalypse Hotel for best of the season. One of the best usages of show not tell. Excited for S3. Though I do hope they take their time with S3.

It's been awhile since we saw Xiaolan. Though it is wonderful to see her moving on to the next stage of her life. Going from the gossip girl to finding her place is really sweet. Maomao rarely gets emotional, so the fact that the letter got her in tears really says a lot.

Nice to see the kids still living. I think the term of it being medicine rather than poison was the indicator in that. Nice to see Ah-Duo taking in 4 of the kids along with Suirei is good to see too. Honestly, Ah-Duo as a motherly figure is something that Suirei needs.

I am curious how Shisui survived. I am happy that now she can live her life how she wants to. No longer restricted to the binds of Loulan. Simply Tamamo. I expect that hairpin to make it back to Maomao someway. When though I wonder. For Tamamo I wonder if we will see her again.

Gyokuyou is now the Empress with the birth of her boy. Though with Jinshi more busy now, Maomao is back home. Very curious where S3 takes the series from here.

The Xiaolan letter might be one of the most emotional scenes for me. Seeing her growth and the words in the letter got me teary eye a bit ngl. I really thought she was going to be a tragic character due to not finding a place in that world and her not being able to see her two best friends to show her growth def felt sad for me. Unsure if it happens because chances are probably low but we need a reunion for the 3. They were truly best friends imo

I hope Suirei gets enough screen time for season 3 because she's one of the most tragic characters and interested to see where she goes from here. It was nice to see the children find proper homes for the most part.

Gyokuyou seemed to be the best fit for empress out of the options imo

I wonder how they're going to explain Shisui/Tamamo surviving because it feels like massive plot armour to survive that. Despite all of that i am happy she was able to survive and being a new life because her and her sister had a rough upbringing.

Lastly, I do find it interesting that Jinshi is trying to court MaoMao because due to his status he easily could've ordered her to be his wife. However, it seems he wants to make sure it's something she wants to do.

The pacing for Lord of the Mysteries is fukked. Honestly just gonna put it on hold. Visually it’s breathtaking. Prob read the novel first.

Lord of Mystery is definitely moving too fast @tripleaamin could barely make sense of what was happening in the beginning outside of them having sealed objects similar to JJK with grades and everything and trying to find a book from some family, other organizations also looking for the same book.

it sucks ass to have a crazy fight sequence but 0 idea of who is doing what or how because they never bothered to explain any combat or how these peoples powers work whatever moment they're rushing the studio to get to better be worth it cuz they still gonna have to come back and explain the power system and whatever else they skipped

Dunn has sleep abilities but also a lightning affinity? Leonard can use plants but has some darkness/shadow affinity he's keeping secret for now (he also pretended to be trapped by the puppet so he could watch Klein)

i have no idea what the rest of the team was doing besides getting clapped up

the Gray Fog/Mist place where he had that meeting is similar to the Cube in Super Cube, Klein can go there and basically take a timeout from any fukkery going on around him, it's in its own dimension



but since the animation is crazy nobody in here should have any issues with the plot pacing it doesn't matter
