my brother you are sleep, classic show a ton of people have seen, it came on Adult swim and the the soundtrack is goated, only Fooly Cooly comes close in terms of using their soundtrack to enhance scenes, looking up shows with dope soundtracks is one of the main ways people stumble into it if they missed the adult swim run.

Robot suits surfing through the air catching bodies, imma need you to add that OG series to your playlist ASAP. It's required viewing.

Tbh you really wonder what the relationship was between Shizuka's parents. The father clearly wanting nothing to do with Shizuka kind of highlights how awful the mom must have been. On a side note, where did Shizuka get the money to travel that far?

It makes me feel even sadder for Marina. The text message from her father really shows he was trying to move on, but her mother didn't let that happen. As shytty as he was, he did try to move on. Kind of like how Shizuka's dad did. I know Azuma's mom is not a good parent, but both Marina & Shizuka's moms are just failures of human beings.

I got the feeling I am either going to love the ending to this anime or I will HATE it. Well writing is excellent as you said, which adds to why I could see myself feeling of these two extremes.

What does Takopi even do now? Marina is dead. At this point I am not sure if there is any way Takopi would still want to help Shizuka. Especially her turning on him after everything he has done.

With how wild this anime has been, it makes me wonder about the possibility of Marina coming back alive.

Also with the Demon Slayer movie coming out in 2 months here.

They are def going to do what they did with Mugen Train and put that shyt on TV before the next part of the movie. Well I'm not surprised they will milk this series for all its worth.

I do want to say I really like how this is a short story and it doesn't overstay its welcome. Just like with Look Back. I hope this leads to shorter and more concise light novels & manga being adapted.

You gotta actually be a good WRITER to do that


Majority manga/web novel authors are pedestrian as hell, first-time writers hoping the artwork/horny humor/action scenes will carry their stories, it doesn't help that the second a story gets picked up the authors are expected to churn out 15-20 pages of content every week for years nonstop without any breaks to actually develop the story or their abilities as writers

hence so many shows being so bad


I usually have way more faith in shorter stories that were already completed before they got picked up, JJK's downfall was that Gege literally wrote that prequel 0 chapter for fun just tossing cool ideas in, shyt caught up with him in the end

Hotel Inhumans episode 2 with another solid episode.

I like the use of an orchestra for Kase. As everything goes as he plans. Though his wife is the only thing that keeps him on his toes. Although it is that encounter with the wife that leads him to get him killed. Kind of like an orchestra where one mistake can ruin a performance if you are not ready. This was once when a mistake was costly.
