Man :mjcry:

Man, seeing Sadanaga slowly on his way to dying hurt like a truck. He was a great dad for Ofuu. I can understand why Ofuu feels guilty because him coming into her care does have an effect on why his life was shorter. You can tell, though, he lived a life with no regrets. For Jinya & now Ofuu there is pain, but they should look at the past with a more positive outlook. I do hope Jinya takes the advice Sadanaga gives him and puts it forward.

Seeing Naotsugu & Jinya talking of their kids maybe getting married together in the future to him being terrified of Jinya in his demon form is just sad. Though with his wife knowing Jinya more than him, perhaps it won't be a permanent farewell like it was with Natsu. Though it is hard to say how much his wife knew him beyond the tasks she gave him in the past.Honestly, at this point Hatakeyama is the main antagonist over Suzune and he was out to outcast Jinya. It could be because Nomari is a kid and she is yet to understand things adults are used to. There was more confusion than fear in her eyes. I do hope that at least Ofuu can recognize that because Nomari is important for Jinya. He can't afford to cut her out of his life.

Also, even the animation isn't stellar. I really liked the choreography in the short fight.

I knew someone was gonna crash out on that plane :dead: no way that shyt was gonna make it to the ground in one piece

This film nikka feels more like a JoJo's character tho, took his gag to the extreme

The solution was even goofier :skip: I'm not mad tho, this show has always toed the line between goofy and cool and they just gave us 2 serious episodes in a row prior to this, this school arc is probably gonna be jokes until another attack on the commission happens

I guess the elf woman in New Saga is just part of Kyle’s party now. She just wanted to shut him up about her real name and now she’s going everywhere with them.

I just watched "The Boy and the Beast" in theaters, and it was great. The themes portrayed in this film are fantastic. 9/10.

The star of the film is the relationship between Kumatetsu & Ren. It's clear that Ren desired a father figure for so long, especially at the beginning of the film when his mother passed away. In fact, their relationship really showcased what a pure father-son relationship is like. Bickering at each other's throats, but at the end of the day they will be there for each other. Especially the effect that Ren has on Kumatetsu. He slowly gets his act together, and it is through the encouragement of Ren that Kumatetsu can push forward.

Despite him not being strong enough to live on his own, there is the desire for him to be human. Meeting Kaede is a big thing, which gives him the opportunity to get to the end of the movie and return to living a human life. Kaede herself didn't get much focus, but her helping Ren out is clearly for her doing something she wants to do. Simply, her parents didn't praise her for her efforts, while with Ren it is clear as day. The fact she even slaps Ren at his moment of weakness is a big deal given her stance towards the end of the movie. It is also at this point we see less of the visions of Ren's mother. Basically, Kaede has taken over that role. Though the mother still watches over him through Chiko. But she still gets the last message at the end of the movie.

Humans containing darkness is something that can be illustrated in us in everyday life. Obviously, given everything we see Ren deal with, it makes sense. One parallelism that I really liked is actually between Kumatetsu & Iouzan. Ichirouhiko is human like Ren, but Iouzan treated him as a demi-human child. Of course, his continuing to lie to Ichirouhiko over time caused him to grow dark. In fact, Ichirouhiko is one of the first ones in that world to defend Ren. By the time the timeskip occurs, he now has hatred for Kumatetsu, which gets drawn to Ren. He clearly loved Iouzan so much that darkness was directed to Ren because it's easier for kids to be violent to other kids than to another adult. Well, that is until he tried to kill Kumatetsu behind his back, literally.

My real issue with the film is the start regarding the father. Are we to assume the father was forced into a divorce? Logically, given how the mother and Kaede are supposed to be similarly kind and the father seems genuine. I definitely felt spending time with his blood-related father would have helped it for me, at least. Still loved that Kumatetsu is always with Ren now.

Finally finished season 3 of Shield Hero and the execution seemed really sloppy. It felt like the series was rushing through light novel material.

I can see what y’all meant about The Promised Neverland season 2, I’m only 3 episodes in so far…it’s watchable at the moment but I do think it’s moving a bit to fast then season 1.

Hotel Inhumans Episode 7 felt odd. I did like the double meaning of the secret ingredient being tomato. Also, the point is how you die.

Though perhaps this was meant to be less emotional and more ironic. Her master was trying to get her to seal her emotion, and killing her was supposed to seal that off. As we see, Sara seals her own emotions. Though rather Ringo turned into more of the more emotional and animated assassins we got so far.
