That is basically a shounen trope with how often it happens not just in this show but so many battle shounens. But it was definitely dumb.

Imagine countries were at war explaining how their weapons work :mjlol:

That's why I loved Hunter X Hunter. 80 years later I still don't understand how Gon's power works :yeshrug:

So many of these just lack show, not tell. Wait till the Bachi anime comes out. It's got good aspects to it. But my god, how much the series relies on flashback exposition and info dumps makes me want to pull my hair out reading it at times. :mjlol:

Thank God for Mark; he has a good head on his shoulders, and he and his wife were able to get everyone to actually use their brains. Of course, him not blindly following Alicia is what I like too. Alicia's answer is what he wanted to hear. Talking about her wanting to expand her horizons. Also liked how he is perceptive that Luna would be their future king. Of course, Meynard was perceptive enough to jump in.

With the topic of heroes, Meynard never received the help of a hero. It can be understandable why his views on them are what they are because they were never coming to help him. I guess for him Drel is closer to a hero than any of the proclaimed heroes.

It's interesting to note that the spider's poison has an effect on Dark Ichor. Of course it is more temporary since it seems Meynard overstates how effective that poison is. Delaying her healing abilities definitely did put Alicia in a tough spot. Honestly, Klen waiting so long to give Alicia the Regalia sword honestly speaks more to the lack of awareness that he keeps having in these situations. But, man, the strength of the Regalia was really put on display.

One thing that the end of this episode made clear is that Drel is a bigger threat simply because he has the backing of one of the Lord of Dark Beasts. The seal placed on Clevatess is more serious because of that. Though it makes me wonder why Drel has the support of one of them.

Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse - Episode 8 has a big info drop this episode.

There was a lot of exposition here, but it was pretty interesting.

Well, the backstory for Tsukimiya was nothing I expected. Basically, in the Earth future, they end up going to the moon if I am understanding it correctly. Then she eventually gets reincarnated in the past, basically from that technology that they made from the future. Much like Hareaki, there is a bunch of her in parallel living in the same world. Makes me wonder if Hareaki also came from this future like her, maybe. It does make me wonder if the world Takeru originally came from plays an important role here. Also his parents.

Furthermore, we learn that the worlds that Takeru visits have a spark of particles. More than likely that's where the most gain occurs, which perhaps Hareaki is looking for. Though with the fire rat now, it will make things interesting as he can tap into his power whenever he needs to.

I did see that this version of Yura is how the other versions of her are coming to her. It just makes me think all the past versions of the people Takeru has involved himself with will play a role. Kazura clearly has emotional baggage, but she (?) is basically all in for Hareaki's plan. Though given that this Tsukimiya died, it feels certain that Takeru will meet a roadblock, maybe next episode.

The towers of the 4 Gods seem to have an effect on the White Whittle. Makes me wonder what happens now since one of them in this world is destroyed.

My son Derrick being brought into the Tarot club is a big deal :wow: really curious how they're gonna animate his POV when the city is pitch black 90% of the time, that boy grew up in the trenchiest of all trenches

But they haven't really shown much of the Alger/Audrey POV's besides her dog 🐶 accidentally becoming a Beyonder and learning how to talk. Probably gonna see more of their lives in season 2.

Edit: a 2nd episode dropped this week :ohhh: I wonder if the last couple episodes got leaked illegally.

This episode was on point too, last 3-4 episodes have been paced properly, it sucks that they rushed the first couple episodes so much and scared anime-onlys fans away.
