Just watched the finale of Dandadan, hell of a way to end the season. Glad it will be back, even if I have to wait to find out what happens next.

Where The Grass Is Blue
Breh, that shyt is some otherwordly shyt as a finished product. I saw the Blu Ray version and was :mindblown: at the shyt those animators had in mind. There aren't big changes, but it's the details that make that shyt even more incredible than the version we got on that weekly episode.

I can only imagine what Mappa is making those poor jrehs go through to get to that December 5th deadline with a film-like quality for the first 2-3 episodes of season 3 :damn:
I had to download the fight to my phone that shyt was so crazy :russ:

MAPPA workers gotta be in a blender I was just thinking they got Hell's Paradise S2 dropping like a month after this drops in theaters

Hell's Paradise has a different team working on it, same happened with S1 (which was why it looked like a B+ effort and not a "top show" kind of effort).

The JJK crew shares a lot of duties with the CSM crew, which just premiered the Reze Arc movie in theaters. One would hope Mappa learned their lesson and is actually hiring more people but gotta see it to believe, they probably don't give a fukk :dead:

Tbh breh that's being generous :pachaha: I would say C at best. Like the anime was aggressively mid. M

Having watched essentially all of Mappa's projects since I watched anime. (Started 2021) The art was a giant drop-off from the manga's beautiful art, and the animation was barely above a slideshow for the majority of S1. Outside of episode 1 and the finale.

Like, I would just call it one of Mappa's worst projects. Stuff like Ranma, Campfire Isekai, Zenshu, Oblivion Battery & Bucchigiri all looks better. These are Mappa's side projects, basically.

Takt Op. Destiny looked worse than Jigo, but that was more on Madhouse, as it was a joint project.

Call of the Night S2 wrapped up, and it was great. Would give 9/10. Really delivered on the best arc and the themes in the two main arcs. More stuff in comparison to the manga.

This adapted chapter 97 and basically the rest is anime original. Though I swear the maid cafe scene does happen later in the manga, or I am mixing things up.

Considering there was no S3 greenlit, how they did things makes sense because with how chapter 99 goes (98 is skipped), it would be a dikk move to end things there for anime-onlies. Though in a perfect world where S3 gets announced, that would be the perfect chapter to end things off, but alas, we are not there.

I give S2 9/10 because I think it was great in many ways,, and while I understand why they cut the Lira stuff, something was bound to get the short end of the stick. It was good content that was skipped that I recommend anime-onlies to check out.

Everyone is doing too much regarding the reze movie :francis: it's just an arc, a quick one at that.

I have no thoughts on the other stuff, didn't watch the compilation film, but there will eventually be a "new mappa" and they'll probably go through the same cycle

I guess with how S1 flopped, MAPPA wanted to make sure to win good favor with the Japanese fanbase, which makes sense.

Though the Reze arc should have been the last part of S1. Then we would be having S2 now. But it is what it is at this point.

A question for anybody who went to see
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle. Did yall watch Dubbed or Subbed? Do they actually have subbed in America? I really want to see the movie with subbed.
I've seen it subbed, and the movie listing should include the available options for you.

But good movie overall, and as I've commented before, the flashbacks can be a bit jarring in-between the action.

How'd they get the greenlight for the movie?
