Chainsaw Man - cot damn. Everything up until the action was like damn. And then the action started DAMN. And the ending, DAMN ^2.

I hate to compare it to Demon Slayer, but I really hope folks show out for this like they did for that.

the only thing i think was lost in the movie was Kobeni spiraling an anime-only watcher isn't gonna remember how much of a joke she was/is meant to be, last season was too long ago, imma need the anime to deliver on the Kobeni memes before it's all over.

even Aki's deal with the Future Devil, you would've had to watch the last couple episodes or be a reader to remember that situation off the top of your head.

but im assuming most people are gonna watch atleast the last 2 episodes of s1 before they watch the movie

Chainsawman movie was great. Saw it in IMAX.

My only complaint was that the audio got unsually loud during the fight with Typhoon at the end of the film. Idk if that was just my theater or if it was the same for everyone else.

The type of loud that just sounds like nothing but noise.
