All this talk about the assasin isekai being one of the few brightspots this season made me go watch it and...

this shyt is not an outlier at all. Sure, the genre is not my thing but I thought I was gonna see something different or interesting at least (the main reason I became a MT fan) and this shyt ain't it


Premise is the MC is the only one that actually shows some desire to go back home

World is as bland as you can imagine

Cool animation only showed up for the opening of the 1st episode

This elf chick already salivating for the MC for no damn reason

Now we got a talking cat


I'm out

It's an anime based off a modern isekai light novel. You're expecting too much. Think more like Failure Frame.

I saw more praise than usual for an isekai so I thought this one had some uniqueness or a different take on the genre.

I'm not a fan at all of isekai so when I saw it was pretty much the same ol' thing, it's time to stop watching

If this means they stop with filler episodes and pick up the pace of stories, I'll start watching again. So I'm all for this.
