The 36 Chambers
Dr X is a dope character in Dr Stone, season 3 was pretty decent but it lacked a character like him.

I need to get on starting Paranoia Agent sometime this week too.

Odd Taxi was dope.

Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City

Funny how a lot of anime manages to work in the reluctant slave master concept.

Because it's moreso a god complex

Everyone loves to imagine themselves being so "good" that they're forced into leadership against their will, fake humble type shyt

Cacs flooded entertainment with that shyt to the point that it's become a staple story structure

Heard so much about "Sentenced to Be a Hero"

went and watched the first episode and it was kinda mid. I was not moved :russell:
All i saw were people saying it have movie quality animation :manny: it's up there

The story isn't much to speak on its a setup we've already seen before, tbh im not even that curious about the plot yet either but I'll take it over all the trash from last season

Anime hype is usually coming from 3 places:

-readers who are just waiting for that one 5 outta 5 moment in the series that carries their whole ranking of it (Shibuya for example)

-casuals who are seeing something for the first time, they gonna think everything is fresh

-nostalgia merchants who genuinely like seeing the same stories :yeshrug: they'll only admit it after you pull receipts on em tho :mjlol:

Gachiakuta and Kaiju no. 8 have alot of hype from the 2nd and 3rd. I dont think their fanbases are strong enough to get it to MHA tier though

There are some moments when the hype matches the quality like Attack on Titan but thats truly some lightning in a bottle shyt, most Japanese stuff cant pull off that german/jews plotline like that, too much substance for their writers

@T-K-G @LordDeathwatch BREHS! :damn: :damn:

What a fukking premiere for JJK :banderas: no wonder they put these two episodes in the theater because hooooly shyt did they bring it for every action sequence shown.

First episode was just outstanding, from the visuals, the sequences, the little winks, the little added stuff. Just a great fukking job at making you want to keep watching.

Second episode kept it up with the fight and then gave the needed exposition to start the season. I thought it was smart of Mappa to show the rules in that way because they are gonna get repeated so many times that viewers don't really need to get a long dialogue about them right now.

We'll see how they handle the 2nd cour later in the year but these first 12-13 episodes of the arc are gonna be something else :lawd:

The OP is fukking horrible though :scust: ED is better but I have no clue how they fell off like that with such an "easy" task.
