@Jmare007 today was the best Fire Force episode of the whole series cot damn that was a perfect flashback setup for a fight

them nikkas made the art style change and had nikkas in the show wondering what show that style came from


Beni the best character in this hoe easily that's saying alot cuz they prolly have the dopest roster out of any of the other big shows



and im always on board for a Soul Eater reference i held on reading this so i have no idea if they actually tie everything together

Animation was so , had to look up the studio that produces the show to see what else they worked on.

Im watching Hells Paradise though.

yuji has consistently been a dog, after running Choso's fade with 1 arm and maxing out Mahito he's definitely 1st-team All-Kaisen imo.

honorable mention: Todo, Maki, they did work but got permanently disfigured

no one else has put up as many points as them and stayed alive Toji is so ridiculous he came back to life and put up even more points, had to commit suicide so he didn't kill the entire cast of the show


attack on titan might be the only anime where the MC is clearly my favorite character


it's way easier to enjoy side character because they can just be cool for cool's sake, if the show was actually about them shyt would get stale quick

I'm an anime only and it was definitely a big exposition dump

I didn't understand all the culling game rules, but feel like I got the gist of what they had to do.

Ol girl and Choso would protect Tenzen. Maki goes after her cursed weapons. Yuta scouts info in the games, while Yuta and Megumi team up.

Ultimate goal to protect that girl from the games, free Gojo, and stop body swap sorcerer from enacting his grand plan. That ending with the comedian though

I thought it was just me that felt that put way too much info about the game in that episode. I had to pause for a good second to fully grasp things. I think that probably would've been an episode I would watch the dub, so it would be easier to follow tbh.

 

[Instant Classic]

Frieren with a strong return. I felt this episode showed a lot about the relationship of the team. It's clear they all mean a lot to one another and each member helps balance out the team. Episodes that focus on Stark are always interesting because it shows his importance of the team even though sometimes he feels a bit forgotten.

I didn't realize this season is only 10 episodes, but it's nice to have this show back.

started watching Dead Account, thought it was just gonna be a goofy show with a youtuber punching on people


bout 10 minutes in it takes a turn to a sorcery battle shounen, shikigami, kaisen-esque shyt prolly best to binge it at a later date

then ole girl straddled him for like 3 minutes and i was over it they bombarded us with weak tropes the entire 2nd half

I read the manga after season one aired....I was at how troupy it became the more the story went along. There should be some cool fights down the line in the anime but it was kinda like dark fantasy Kaiju n.8 tbh. Nothing horrible and it has a proper ending (can't say it went to shyt or anything close) but you can tell the author or her editor decided to play it safe in the last 2 arcs or so and the ceiling of the story became pretty low.

I'll watch this season but if it already feels like a bunch of troupes...oh boy

Whenever that happens now i just assume the editors took control of the story

either because the author came up with some slop or they needed it to hit a certain demographic to get published/animated




i think it was when that story came out that Kishimoto's editor was responsible for most of the shyt nikkas liked about Naruto (chunin exams, making naruto a ninja instead that stupid animal idea Kishi kept trying to force into the project) I just accepted that since most of these writers are teenagers when they start these stories they usually aren't fully developed as writers and need that extra help to keep them in line.
