Frieren ED was cool but damn nikkas act like everything is a once in a lifetime talent a LOT of artists could put together an animation using colored pencils, they all know how to draw by default. a nikka IRL was actually tryna debate as if that was some super unique skill amongst animators we got art school nikkas on this site that could draw those frames if given the time

they made it at point to show us someone like Frieren can guesstimate the range why can't my nikka have a small stone in case he gotta CQC a mage? Didn't have to be anywhere near as big as the first one they found.

But yeah, I also thought using such an interesting thing (for that world in particular) just as a comedy bit for Fern was weird. I wouldn't bet on those rocks coming back though, as it seemed the point of it all was show the trust that a party need and that Himmel taught Frieren.

holy shyt darwin incident TURNT UP i was more scared for the nikkas in shiesty's than i was for Charlie, i just knew one of their arms was getting ripped off

I was convinced the dad was in the terrorist group for a second he might still be and this is all a play, but shyt, i was not expecting this quick of an escalation

then you have this other side story of this girl slowly getting radicalized and charlie barely saying anything to convince her

Because in theory, the demons from Frieren's world literally have no redeeming qualities and have been decimating human settlements for centuries. If the focus was on that (from the humans POV) given the few glimpses we've gotten from these demons being pieces of shyt, the show would be dark as fukk

Frieren wouldn't be in a party with anyone she doesn't believe could hang with her tbh. Rudy would take anyone that is a good soul and somewhat useful for party duties.

Shows are just way too different tbh.

I'll tell you this though, if Rudy would've been in party with Himmel, the amount of problems he could've avoided would've been substantial
