:leon: that's not a long wait at all @Jmare007

After that we DEFINITELY getting another movie, the question is where do you roll the credits cuz there isn't much down time for the rest of the show.

Tbh now that im thinking about it the Culling Games might be the last season of jjk we get :hubie: they could easily give us the rest of the story in 2-3 movies like Demon Slayer, shyt would break records

That's actually a lot longer than I would've thought, just going by Mappa's previous schedule with the series. But if the TV slots are taken then it makes sense :manny: besides, it gives them a ton of time to polish and make every fight for part 2 look as great as possible (specially if the rumors of the second cour already being in production for months).

Financially speaking, making 2 or 3 movies for the last arc makes sense. Plot wise I think anime onlys are gonna have an impossible task staying spoiler free :pachaha: but if Mappa just wants that money, they'll probably go for it.

To be fair though, they could also keep doing their current formula of doing movies of recaps with a couple of premier episodes + an anime season and continue to bank though. Series will probably end by 2030 at this rate, and then they can do 2 Modulo movies and continue to milk the franchise :bryan:

i just don't think they give that entire arc the regular episodic roll out, chapter 0 was a hit, they know they can fund the studio if they make at least one movie out of that content

15th highest grossing film in Japanese history :dead: and they paid the voice actors peanuts

And made it in like 4 months :picard:

And for sure, the first third of the arc should be just a film but what comes next is kind hard to predict how they'll adapt it. I can see a case for any scenario tbh (just a film, preview film + premiere eps or just an anime season that later gets recap films on theaters).
