I didn't name anyone. Harden plays no defense so as much as he scores he gives up almost as much on the other end.

He is probably the #1 candidate for empty stats.

My bad thought u was the guy that name those players. So u telling me last year when harden lead his team to a top 2 or 3 seed in west he was putting up empty stats but when kobe was avg like 34 on a team that was a 8th seed or didnt make the playoffs it wasn't empty stats

The definition of big stats on poor teams is just dumb. You can't tell me killers like KG, Ray Allen, Carter, Pierce, AI were putting up empty stats because their teams were trash

Basically big numbers on terrible teams...if you take 18 shots you are prob gonna avg 20ppg. That doesn't mean your a good player, it just means you have the opportunity to take 18 shots on a bad team.

Learn how to watch basketball. What I said is 100% easy to comprehend.

If you score 40, but constantly have your matchup do whatever they want when they get the ball is the definition of empty stats. Yeah you put up 40, but your opponent could drop 25 with multiple assists because they don't feel pressure pretty much eliminates the 40 point night.

Others have mentioned when games are blowouts as well and that also applies.

And garbage time stats are the only empty stats in the league. Players that put up great numbers on bad teams aren't putting up empty stats, their teams are just trash and they're just not capable of carrying their team to the playoffs single handedly.
