Because people keep saying "He scores more but he plays less minutes!!" "He didn't even play in the fourth quarter!".
All of that is true though

Lol. I hope we get something decent for him.
All of that is true though

"I always feel like...Kobe stans neggin me" (Rockwell &MJ voice)
Big numbers but little impact
Kevin Love in Minny and Demarcus Cousins are perfect examples: Multiple 20 & 10 seasons but still couldn't sniff the playoffs
Cousins
Love
Rondo
Kyrie without LeBron
Harden, not as much as the others

Curry's high scoring in "limited" minutes. Breh is allowed (and helped) to take a gazillion shots in those minutes.
Yes. But those stats don't mean what people think they mean, hence their emptiness.
For example, the fourth quarter one doesn't mean he plays a full quarter less so it's stupid to phrase it that way. Also, the number of shots you take obviously matters more than the number of minutes you play as far as determining scoring ability goes.
I'm not saying Curry's scoring is empty, obviously not. Just the "limited minutes" angle is.

that plus minus shyt
what does that even mean
I dunno shyt smells like anecdotal data to meHow much a team outscores (or is outscored) the other team when a player is on the floor
I dunno shyt smells like anecdotal data to me
like what about the cases when the other team also miss one or 2 key player (s) and all the different matchups that can occur
do they have a nice little formula to compute all those cases and come up with a relevant number ? I doubt it
What about scoring 62 and not scoring in the 4th?
