Yeah, in that case, I've been flabby since I was 17. :francis:


But on a less serious note:

Popping open the whatever music streaming service you subscribe to on Friday, looking at the new releases, and saying "I'm not tryna listen to any of this shyt."

The first time you get invited out, and start thinking of polite ways to talk your way out of going, because you'd rather kick it at home.

The first time you realize that you've gotta schedule shyt weeks in advance, damn near with email invites to get as many of your friends together for an outing.

Realizing the above is probably only happening a few times a year, even if y'all are all in the same city.

Eating something and thinking to yourself "I'm gonna regret this tomorrow."

Realizing you not only have a routine to avoid hangovers, but can tell in the middle of drinking when you need to initiate it or not.

Staving off :flabbynsick: status but there are subtle changes:

- stretching before exiting bed
- knee braces are as essential as drawers & brushing your teeth
- getting mentally prepared when something falls on the ground and you have to pick it up
- noticing that you do better with a routine in order to not waste energy
- your eating schedule becomes more regular and inches up ever so slightly every year: in ya 20s, dinner was at 8p, in ya late 30/ early 40s, its at 5p
- sometimes sitting on the front porch with no loud sounds (blaring music, cars revving, etc); just lil children laughing/playing, sipping a cool beverage is a pleasant and calming experience. (NO R.Kelly)
- waking early to water the lawn while sipping ya coffee is relaxing as well

Clothes from 5-10 years ago don’t fit cuz ya gut too thick :usure:

Anytime physical activity get brought up you defer to your younger years to relate. :mjcry:

Start referring to ppl in they 20s as kids/babies (this applies to me) :umad:

Understand your parents actions more/talk to them more. :wub:

When going out, you have a predetermined drink limit/range and you stick to it. :flabbynsick:

When you retire a year in after creating your player because he’s a 37 year old rookie

When you start wondering if you need to throw a JR/III/IV at the end of your name when creating your player, or naming them after your kids if applicable, to account for them being a solid 20 years younger than you actually are.

Seriously though, yall really having knee and back issues like that :picard: I thought that was more of a 50+ issue.



I'm mid-to late 30s and I've never had any knee or back pain at all. I guess being a computer nerd when I was younger and not really playing sports like that helped. Plus I've always been on the thin side and still am. Guess I never really did anything that would put any wear and tear on my joints. :heh:

I imagine a lot of that early onset back and joint pain could be associated with random shyt other than weight, too. Them footraces in the street running the equivalent of a draft combine 40 yard dash on uneven concrete with non running shoes can't possibly have been good for anyone's knees.
