Update on the transmission swap .

We ran outta time at the shop. The torque converter isnt seated or its the wrong one (it came with the transmission , no cost extra) so next weekend we gotta go through it to figure out if its the right one and seat it or just take off the torque converter and slap on another one

The hard part is done so i aint even trippin :manny:
update

:blessed: The coupe back up and running. Last weekend me n my boy reseated the clutch and got it in there correctly, started it up and put some atf in.

Peeped that it was smoking from the bottom and looked under the car to see a pool of that shyt under it. Turns out on the last one that was in it the cooler lines went directly into the transmission so for his one i needed cooler line connections ,scoured the whole town for em and I thought i found em at this old mom and pop store. Threw them on and them shyts still leaked.:snoop:

The thought jumped in my head to go to the chevy dealership and see if they got the right shyt. Turns out they did so grabbed those and threw them on today and it worked on the first try.

:obama: Feels good brehs. Next thing on the list is to change the oil and brakes. Steering gear and look for some front and rear sway bars. Getting some tires this week also.

Respect the good & understand the bad
Finally got around to replacing my center link and tie rods. Been waiting forever to get some rack time at my friend's shop. Got an appointment for an alignment Wednesday. Haven't taken it on a proper test drive yet, but I'm hoping this fixes it and isn't a stuck caliper. If so, probably gonna update to some four pin calipers from the 750.

edit: test drove it and the shimmy is gone :blessed:
Hopefully a good alignment will make it a-1

Put shocks on tonight. Turns feel tighter now. Front is raised a bit which i like but the “boat feel” went away a bit but thats cool with me.

This ima order some weather stripping and some insulation .want a more quiet ride and that “vault door” feeling when I close the door
