Sometimes shyt u thought was classic there's tracks you wouldn't listen to no more. Most classics were classics and still are. The only ones it really changes are the ones that were nvr classic and the ones you thought were really dope in that time or personal classics.This aging theory is just a way to compare classic albums with each other to see which one is better. The one that stood the test of time the most (quality, timeless, more perfect, standout) is the better album. it won't change if it's a classic or not unless it nvr was.........

I think it has to do with the actual sound quality. Older albums sometimes don't sound as good because they were recorded using inferior technology

I think the OP is referring to sounding "dated", which basically means it sounds of its era and sounds old compared to modern sounds and styles. It doesn't mean it's not of high quality, just that it's not something that sounds modern.
