Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
it's his only flaw, and one that isn't one that can't be salvaged. If you told me Rubio could score 20 a night but not be as good of a passer or defender, we'd be worse, straight up and down.

He doesn't need to be a 20ppg scorer, if he could just hit 43% of his shots it would be a massive improvement. This dude is probably the worst shooter I have ever seen on the wing, like I think you could give prime Ben Wallace the same looks and he'd make them at a better clip :scusthov:

Dog, who is the shooting coach over there?

He can't shoot and can BARELY finish at the rim with cohesion.

I would love to see him and Blockhead Rondo play a game of HORSE
Not for nothin, but NOBODY shoots well there. Take a look at some of the shooters that have gone there and what they've done since they've left.

Mike Miller couldn't (and didn't wanna) hit wide open 3's. Goes to Miami, hits 3's with no shoes on.

Martell Webster can't hit a backside because he was always on his back. Goes to Washington, water.

Chase Budinger brought in to hit corner 3's, comes here, loses half of his meniscus and can't get lift anymore.

Corey Brewer, let's just say Brewer's right up there with Marbury, Taylor and McHale on the list of Wolves figures I hate most

Randy Foye could barely shoot here. Now he's a sniper off the bench.

JJ could hit threes everywhere against the Lakers. Now he clanks everything. Kevin Martin, he's shot worse than last year.

The fish rots from the head. The whole system is broken there, yet the entire system is designed to leave Brewer, Bud and Martin open for 3.

What kind of mix and match bullshyt rhetoric is this? I don't know how you can sit there and say with a straight face that he isn't part of the problem. If you're a wing player and you CANT finish or shoot at even a competent level - you're part of the snowball that's rolling down the cliff.

That doesn't mean it will never happen or it's not coming. The games he had without Love he actually shot better. He went to the hoop. The chance for that to happen is there. Whether it actually happens long term, we'll see, but Ricky at the moment is not the biggest problem they have. What's going on right now doesn't lay at his feet.

Regardless of his shot, there's no reason to keep him benched in the 4th quarter like JJ's so good.

He's not a wing. He's a point.

If he can't shoot, why give Brewer $15 mil? If he can't shoot, why get rid of any remaining athleticism the team can compliment him with that can get easy buckets? If he can't shoot, why have him in an offense designed to take the ball out of his hand and have HIM run into a corner? If you're not noticing the problem, it's that they're compounding the issue. On top of it, now they're not letting him do the shyt he can do right.

Why are you absolving a player who is shooting 36% over their career from any of the blame? What you're giving to me is make-up solutions to hide his flaws, that'll inevitably be revealed at the end of the day. The further you go tryna crop him into this picture-perfect scenario; it speaks volumes on his inabilities rather than what's going around him.

I'm not absolving him. I'm saying I wish this team was at a point where we could say his shooting is hurting us so much. He didn't shoot well when he came in, but it didn't matter. He didn't shoot well last year, but it didn't matter. It mattered/s greatly when he's not on the court. That's a problem. There are bigger issues than that at the moment.

I could give you a fatal flaw for every player on this team from Hummel to Dante to Love to Rubio to Pek, etc.. There's ways to mask it, hide it, fix it, but if you're not willing to do so from a coaching or management perspective, then the end result is what you get. For a guy with these awful inabilities, they're non functional without him. Wouldn't that tell you there are bigger issues than just "well if he just shot better we'd be awesome?"

It definitely hurts you in close games, it's part of the reason your squad is so awful and has a positive scoring diff even though they're under .500.

Sometimes he's not even in the game. It would be like me pinning the late game struggles on Love since he's choked in those moments too (other than K-Mart at Golden State-- and he's blown games too-- who has stepped up?)

The #1 problem with the late game stuff has been all coaching. Most of their problems, period have been a result of poor coaching. We talk about Mo Cheeks, Mike Woodson, pick who you want, no one will say it because he has 1000 wins and is 67, but Adelman has done a crappy job this year, from managing Love's minutes to misusing Ricky to booting Derrick to dikkriding JJ to not even giving Muhammad and Dieng a chance, I said this opening night (and we WON that game) I feel like I'm watching Rambis coaching again
