I'm not absolving him. I'm saying I wish this team was at a point where we could say his shooting is hurting us so much. He didn't shoot well when he came in, but it didn't matter. He didn't shoot well last year, but it didn't matter. It mattered/s greatly when he's not on the court. That's a problem. There are bigger issues than that at the moment.

What do you mean it didn't matter? Just because his shooting woes aren't in plain sight / the biggest issue, that doesn't mean he isn't contributing to it.

I could give you a fatal flaw for every player on this team from Hummel to Dante to Love to Rubio to Pek, etc.. There's ways to mask it, hide it, fix it, but if you're not willing to do so from a coaching or management perspective, then the end result is what you get. For a guy with these awful inabilities, they're non functional without him. Wouldn't that tell you there are bigger issues than just "well if he just shot better we'd be awesome?"

That's because the alternative is JJ - they'd be at least competent with 10-12 other PGs in the league. It isn't a case of him shooting better would equal out to them being 'awesome', but they'd be a helluva lot better if he did, because it would nullify some of the bullshyt at the 2/3 and would force Adelman to play him at the end of games on the regular. He isn't this franchise-changing player like you've hyped him up to be.

Adelman should be playing him at the end of games REGARDLESS. He's their most important player and their only defender on a team that can't get stops late in games due to their inability to rotate and protect the rim. Rick would never do that to Love, and it seems like the gaudier his stats become the less they matter.

Love's a horrible defender and passer and even I admit if he was better at it it wouldn't nullify the bullshyt that has gone on.

Minnesota gon be straight. Just make sure they draft right with the picks they got, gonna have mad cap, get like a Gary Harris maybe in the draft. Prolly Mitch McGrary second round. Let Rubio work on that fukkin jumper but do not max him. Prolly focus big on the Love replacement too. Would you really not want something for him though I mean....
