I'll go on record saying i was a huge fan. DDP was dope as hell, just got stuck behind Goldberg & Sting until he made his heel turn and finally got the strap. I felt he shouldve been the one to beat Goldberg at HH98.

As for his WWE run.........."nobody remembers that"

He actually got mad respect during his E run. They were all about his work ethic and professionalism, which is why when they thought he was just gonna be a Rico-esque when it came to usefulness, they were shocked and prepped him for a fairly good push.

Too bad that corner suplex fukked his neck up.

EDIT: DDP was my dude, tho. Late start to his career, hilarious nWo whipping dog, but had the most GODLY feud with Randy Savage

Far exceeded the expectations. This dude was a heel manager and a heel announcer before he decided to become a wrestler, so he had an unusual career path.

Nobody was expecting much, but props to him for all the hard work. That natural charisma definitely helped.

And obviously, a good selfless dude on top of all that.

DDP was that dude:yes:

Swag was on a trillion. Dude came out with a mullet, big ass cigars, chomping on gum all the while letting you know "fukk your props, I'm living this self high five life"

The feud with savage was :ohlawd:

Had good matches with badd, savage, raven, goldberg, nwo, among others. His debut in WWE was one of the loudest pops I've ever heard in wrestling:wow:

*self high fives*

Didn't really like the character at first :patrice: but he worked hard to be the best he could be. He had some great matches with Johnny B. Badd over the TV title that had me and my friend going "DDP? :leon:". Was rooting for the nWo against him, but I knew he was a good talent.

How the hell did we never get a legit Scott Hall vs. DDP or Nash vs. DDP feud during the nWo years? :what:

He even made the best out of his WWE run. Dude was over and dedicated to whatever shyt they gave him and put on consistently good matches.

:salute: DDP was a Daniel Bryan in a sense that he didn't need a gimmick to get over, he just need to inflate who he was a real person for a character. As far as talent he ended up right.

He wasn't a main man caliber but I could easily see him a main eventer once a year. Not to mention maybe hold the WWE Title just once

First wrestler I can easily say that has found a reason to stay retired, his DDP Yoga is fire.
