One of my favorites back in the day!

Dude STAYED with those taped up ribs in the NWO feud. So much so they put a taped up ribs costume in the video games for him(WCW Revenge). The feud with Raven and Macho Man were great, the many ways dude could hit the Diamond Cutter was one of the most memorable things about him. Kimberly Paige was :takedat:.
Truthfully I hated the WWE run. Stuff with Christian was okay I guess, motivational speaker stuff but that dude had more potential. It still makes me :snoop: just thinking about the fact that they never did DDP vs. Austin, DDP vs. Rock or DDP vs. HBK.
Anyway DDP was before his time, he was doing Diamond Cutter variations that people these days still don't do.

IIRC DDP was the guy who wanted to plan entire matches out with his opponent to make sure things went smoothly in the ring.
I honestly can't think of a better Goldberg match than HH 98. 9 minutes into it, when he reversed the jackhammer into the diamond cutter :banderas: I KNEW WE HAD A NEW CHAMP.

I appreciate his in ring work, and the fact that he's an all around solid guy. Cheers to the DDP appreciation thread.

Became a DDP fan after he Diamond Cut Scott Hall and been one ever since. That said, they kind of wasted him in the WWE, I always wanted a DDP/Austin fued
