Very underrated imo. He gets shyt for being bytchoffs swinger buddy but he was good in the ring. Savage and Goldberg's best matches in WCW were with Page. He honestly should have been right there with Goldberg as #1 and #2 babyface but instead they started sticking him is silly celebrity feuds and that Arquette disaster

One of the biggest wrestlers in the 90's period.
DDP was the original people's champion.....He always got the loudest pops when he went out. I was a DDP mark as well. He just had the charisma and swagger that made him a huge star. If my memory is correct, he didn't get a lengthy wcw title run during his tenure in wcw which I think was a mistake, but he made the best out of his time there. The fued between him and Savage is legendary imo
He had a trill ass entrance too.....and his wife Kimberly was bad as fukk (even though he smutted her out lol), but yeah DDP was awesome.

Dude STAYED with those taped up ribs in the NWO feud. So much so they put a taped up ribs costume in the video games for him(WCW Revenge). The feud with Raven and Macho Man were great, the many ways dude could hit the Diamond Cutter was one of the most memorable things about him. Kimberly Paige was

I loved DDP. That pop when he hit Hall with the cutter after refusing to join the NWO was incredible. The feud with Savage is one of my personal favorites of all time. All the ways he would find to hit that Diamond Cutter

I was watching like the top 50 finishers from WWE and iirc diamond cutter wasn't in the top ten while the rko was. I was livid. Top five finisher. Don't give a fukk, I will fight you if you disagree.
People don't realize how huge DDP was in 97/98 he was the number two face behind sting.....sure being Eric's buddy got him the push but he got over and worked hard to become a solid worker his feud with Savage carried most of 97 since Sting and Hogan barely worked

I was never a fan. But that's probabyl more to do w/ WCW booking b/c I didnt care for alot of their guys back then
