Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
During the playoffs the Spurs offense went to some all-time great level, you straight up could not defend them, and it doesn't help that the Heat's defense was slipping. That Spurs team on their run to the finals had one best playoff runs (offensively) in league history, their offense was straight up murder. They were scoring 119 pts per 100 possessions, for comparison this years Warriors is one of the best offenses ever and scores 115 per 100 possessions, it was a master piece on offense, doesn't matter who they played in the finals that year, they were winning the chip.

It was the greatest offensive display in the modern era of the NBA :wow:

They got THRASHED.

Silver said it best. San Antonio showed the world how beautiful the game can really be. Nothing was stopping San Antonio that year.

Ginobili turned back the clock

Patty mills going golden eye off the bench

Tony Parker was hurting the entire series too

Boris Diaw being the ultimate utility player

Kawhi showing the world how great he can really become

And there was nothing lebron could have done about it. San Antonio should have won in 4 as well but Parker and Duncan missed 4 straight free throws in game 2

Khawi Leanord embarrassed and shut down LeBron all series :yeshrug:
Lebron had 28.2 PTS (57% FG, 52% 3PT, 79% FT) - 7.8 REB- 4.0 ASS 2.0 ST 0.4 BLK so the line above is false

Spurs had 6 players scoring 41% and better on 3, bad defense and turnovers by the Heat overall. Having said that Spurs also weren't great on defense: its just that Miami's shooters missed a lot of open shots.
The Heat actually did very well in the first 2 games and had the aircon thing and the subsequent Lebron cramps not happened, the narrative could be totally different. The heat were on top and dictating the tempo. It would have been a different ballgame going back home up 2-0 in the finals.

baby, that was the old me
Ppl forget that Heat team was extremely efficient. They were by all accounts the more talented team and looked like the favorites.

D Wade was thoroughly contained.... Honestly sad. That, turnovers and the spurs inability to miss swing 3s was the main reason they lost the finals.:snoop:

Bosh was un aggressive but he did just enough against the spurs D but his rebounding was disappointing.

Lebron and the vets were top tier , the other two stumbled at the wrong time and Spurs took advantage.:whoo:

Ran on fumes from 4 straight trips to the Finals for the core, Wade was shot, small ball can only get you so far and they ran into a really, really, really, really, really, really, bad matchup for them.

Spurs were playing best basketball ever, making no crucial mistakes, for example that series against mavericks where it took them to 7 games the spurs were missing shots that they should have made. In finals everything was working perfectly.

The Spurs shot lights out, haven't seen anything like that in a long time if ever. If the Spurs played against the Heat the same way they played against the Mavericks earlier in those playoffs no way they win that series, but by the time the Finals came around they were on some whole other shyt. And outside of LeBron nobody really showed up for the Heat. Would have been nice to see if that series goes any differently if LeBron doesn't cramp up in Game 1 though, because the Heat could have won that game.
