Your brain is totally broken and there may be a mental illness you need to be diagnosed with if you think dudes are passing up easy layups and fast breaks. You have to use your eyes to watch the game then your brain to analyze why things are happening. You loved the NBA of old because it was extremely basic offense then resulted in the same type of shots over and over. The volume of jump shots has barely changed, we just don't see skill challenged parked inside the three point line...

It was fun to watch mid range scorers score when they were on but yall act like every team had a Jordan, Kobe, McGrady. Y'all act like nikkas wasnt shooting tour dates regularly. nikka Jerry Stackhouse got MVP votes ARE YOU ABLE TO TELL ME THAT WAS GOOD TO WATCH?

He said that not having the defensive 3s rule adds "10pts easily".

The same defensive 3 second rule didn't stop him from becoming the MVP in Euroleague, nor from getting the gold at Eurocup at 17 with Dragić...

I’ve said it in other threads, but look at those “all time great” 90s defense just being able to sit there with all 5 guys in the paint.

Compared to the amount of reads a defender has to make over the course of a few seconds playing against a modern offense, it’s a completely different game.

There's way more motion in today's game as well.

This isn’t much different than two players standing in the corner every offensive possession

I watched and for the most part I don’t disagree with that logic however I stand by what I said.

But I can tell you what turns so many people off to the modern game. No one s saying these guys aren’t skilled we just don’t like the obsession with the 3 ball. The flopping and the always whining to the refs. You got playoff series where every game is a blowout one way or another depending on who’s shot because missed threes lead to easy points on the other end
It’s boring to watch guys just dribble down court and chuck a three. There is no tension or real battle to get a shot off

Your rarely see big time dunks because no one is challenging you at the basket and players just don’t play like that no more outside a small handful.

The idea that the 3 point contest is better than the dunk contest is everything that a lot of people hate about todays game.

And then there is the load management
