What do people do on lunch break anyways? What takes an hour? It takes me 15 minutes tops to eat my lunch. I guess if your boss really keeps track of you and need to go pick up a gift, get a haircut or an oil change or something a full hour for lunch would be useful.

Some run errands
Some take a nap
Some get in a nooner.
Some go to lunch with family/coworkers they like.

Man this is why we need them unions. Companies done added an extra hour of work and we aint getting shyt extra.

A good union will have you smiling every day. There has been a large amount of hate directed towards unions, and it all comes from management. They then give false info to their employees and then those employees just believe it . They don't want unions because they don't want workers knowing their rights.

I have a 9-5 on paper ... but since I'm a supervisor and have the company email tied to my smartphone ... its like i'm never off ... I spend my 9-5 dealing with my staff and then the after hours doing the work I was trynna do all day... and I have a government job so you cant say government jobs are still save and etc.... it depends on what gov't job

same here ... 35 hr/wk with a hr lunch... so its technically an 8 hour day... that extra hour might not even help ... by the time its all taxed and etc you probably get an extra $10 in your check

Man these jobs have switched it up to 8-5. Gotta make sure they still get 40 hours of work out of you even with the lunch break. Bullshyt! I dont know anyone who works traditional work hours anymore. Its always some extra shyt if you working salary.

Mine is 7:30 - 4:00 40 hours a week and I get an hour lunch break...it's nice to get off earlier. I'd even opt to go in earlier to get off at 3

15m is barley enough time to get through most meals

Yup. I dont want to lift at 7 in the morning nor do I want to after a long day at the office. Lunch time is the perfect time to go lift to get out stress and anger all the while benefiting my life in the long run.
