EVERYONE was a character back then, even jobbers had characters; look at that roster up there, just stacked with quality characters and memorable wrestlers. The comms, the lead stars, the tag teams, the women, the story lines, the characters, the Vince character, the bloody violent matches, the PPV's had better fukking titles, the car crash TV anything can happen moments... just fukkery and the best era for wrestling

We are in the realism era. The smarks could only talk about work rate and being mad at vinces corny gimmicks and now we barely have any. Def shows a lack of imagination
Rusev got a classic gimmick and rusev one of the best on the roster.
Bray got a cool gimmick with his stable of hillbilly villains. Thats why hes been getting props and has life.

Dean being the lunatic fringe is eh but dean comes off as being true to his character so his works as well..
Kevin owens is like a schoolyard bully so i aint mad at him too much.
Aj is aj. Smark dream. Being phenomenal is good enough foe him but anderson and gallos need a lil help.
Nakamura lives his ginmick his works.
Finn balor is a lame name for the shyt he portrays but atleast he is sometjing extra.
Samoa joe is a lazy gimmick but people like him i will allow it
Rome and seth are lazy with theirs even tho i like them as wrestlers
Cena turned into the anerican hero ala hogan im not mad at him being just cena
