Don’t Be Like He-Man
What's going on here?
I thought he would be releasing something

He did. He dropped a couple of projects. Both were lackluster. He can still rhyme (he bodied that joint on Pap's project) but I don't think his heart is in it
He started a podcast with Havoc on Vlad's network but they haven't dropped an episode in a couple of months.
I said it before but early 2000s, Saigon and 50 were my favorite rappers. Saigon was like a 50 Cent/Nas hybrid, he had catchy hooks and could rhyme and had content and believability. I really thought he had next.
Are you familiar with the Saigon G-Unit story? He did. He dropped a couple of projects. Both were lackluster. He can still rhyme (he bodied that joint on Pap's project) but I don't think his heart is in it

Yep. I forgot the exact reason why they fell out but Saigon said it on Queenzflip podcast. I have to go back and watch. But yeah it's crazy how drastically one decision can change history. Are you familiar with the Saigon G-Unit story?
Saigon was almost part of G-Unit, Saigon was hanging with the entire G-Unit gang before 50 blew, before GRODT.
Then when 50 blew he kept everyone in the Unit but Saigon.
And in interviews 50 always acted like he didn't know who Sai was.
I wonder why he kept everyone in his crew except for him.
Also how iller would G-Unit have been if fif didn't do that and Sai WAS a member of the Unit??
Saigon is the king of starting projects and never finishing themHe did. He dropped a couple of projects. Both were lackluster. He can still rhyme (he bodied that joint on Pap's project) but I don't think his heart is in it

That's true especially when he took a good 6 years off completely. How many artist really make good music outside of their prime though?
That period where he was making songs like stocking cap, favorite things, etc is over.
One thing about Saigon is that he doesn’t have the greatest rap voice imo, so everything has to be right for him to pull off a good project.
