Black women are doing better and that’s all there is to it

Education doesn't mean anything if you're going into the wrong fields. A black engineer will make twice what a black teacher makes

Don’t think we all out here doing bad
we aren’t :mjlol: My boy is doing a Study Abroad trip in Italy for Engineering. Not only does that knock the educated myth, but the “Black Men don’t travel” myth.

This is why there’s support for the theory that BW ignore a large section of BM and the ones they do want don’t fit any of the criteria they preach about.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

while I was single, women flock when you’ve gone to an HBCU that’s out of state and you’re making good money.

the friends you make for life/connections trickle down to your children.

The inside jokes you share with other brehs that went to other HBCU’s is something no one will understand unless you’ve been to an HBCU.

They doing big things. The Morehouse guys have one of the best pipelines into big finance of any college in the nation.

I'm jealous to be honest as companies have just now started to realize that black people attend PWI's as well.

This is my gripe with the BS d&i stuff.

There are over 100 HBCUs yet less than 10 get majority of the “handouts” from big companies and then if you black and at a PWI you fall under the radar OR Into an already crowded pipeline with non blacks who have had access to things you may have not in order to prep.

The information you provided takes income of all black men regardless of age, degree level, or job situation to calculate those figures. To be honest, It’s really quite hard to discern how many of those men have degrees and to what extent it corresponds to their income

The information I provided is much more targeted and clearer. Black women who are millennials are simply doing better and there’s nothing wrong with that

It's so weird because I feel like there's this segment of men and Black men specifically, that are invisible to many ppl. Like there's a huge middle ground btwn your 20k a year retail worker and someone who makes 6 figures(which is not common).

I see these BM everyday working for waste management or the county or getting their CDLs, etc. Maybe it's my area but the women I know who aren't attached are just looking for men with their stuff together. There's never a discussion of a specific dollar amount so these discussions to me always seem so...tunnel focused.
Right, leave it to the internet, black men are either working dead end retail or 6 figure 6 cert ballers. There are no black men in the middle class. :mjlol:

Let's look at your chart.

($100k+) Despite having less degrees there's more black men making over $100k than black women

($50k-$100k) Despite have less degrees, black men are just marginally behind in the $50k-$100k area. The margin is so small its not even worth mentioning

($20k-$50k) Just barely making it. High chances are the people in this group live together

(under $20k) Doesn't matter. It's the low income group all around.

What did your chart did prove exactly? If a group is marginally doing better its not even worth mentioning, especially the unemployed and $20k-$50k groups

nikkas really need to understand that a large portion of black women look at "regular" 9-5 men as "lame". This mindset carries onto alot of them well into their mid to late 30s. By time they realize their mindset (alot don't even do this), it's too late for most of them.
This must be either some hood shyt or fatherless women talk, because 99% of the men in my family work and I never considered them or any other working man lame.

It’s all BS. Black men make more money than Black women on average. And yeah we can say that certain men aren’t available for marriage, due to their sexuality or because they are incarcerated etc, but likewise there is probably an equal number of Black women who are not suitable for marriage, for various reasons.
Men (as a collective) are supposed to make more than their women (as a collective). I'm not sure why people make this argument. We're not your competition.

As you should.

Everyone isn’t college material.

Higher education is only so inclusive now because it’s a money making machine.

You don’t need 4 years of university studies to do most jobs.

And from my experiences, the majority of nikkas at HBCUs wash out because they can’t handle that male - female ratio and start acting like a brand new nikka to attract females.

Square nikkas all they life turn into weed smoking wanna be gang bangers, drop out, and end up back home working at Enterprise.
I disagree, we need most black kids to go get an higher education, everyone not being college material is bullshyt and an excuse

Those ratios are brutal and if I’m not mistaken Florida A&M and North Carolina A&T are the biggest HBCU’s in the country. Add in Howard being the most prestigious and shorty (Wonder cheeks) argument holds weight.
It only holds weight if you’re stupid and can’t see the nuances of data and social factors.
