Aint dont nobody is simping over that cigar looking bytch kelani .A good looking Darkskin woman shouldn't have the same amount of simps as a weird looking light skin woman
I could leave my girl for Lupita now and she would understand...

I actually i do but thr is also is a point that ugly lightakin broads are gassed the fukk up. Kelani is prime example of that.I guess I should have used a better looking girl than Kehlani but you get my point
yes i am
I feel you, and this was a conversation I had with my one of my exes who was dark and gorgeous.
And as we went back and forth, I came to the conclusion that this was something she experienced in her family (all her family are light besides from her), and in highschool (juvenile boys love making color jokes)
But as an adult, who got attention thrown her way all the time, it was no longer a big thing for her.
I'm not saying that it still doesn't affect her, but, as a black man i can say that most of that lightskin/darkskin talk goes right out the window when you an attractive woman.
I cant deny what she dealt with, but i've lived with it too.
Shoot when I was younger I played outside maybe 7 hours a day and was muuch darker than I am now.
Black girls around me would have no shame telling us that they only liked lightskin guys.
In fact, I heard this more from black girls than the opposite (at the time, it shifted a bit with age).
Black girls in my classes would say stuff like "how come we dont have any lightskin boys?" Or "why are all Africans so dark?
"
But you'll never hear me complain about that stuff today, because it doesn't affect my ability to get women.
Are there women out there who will pass on me due to my skin tone? Of course, that is always a factor for everyone.
I just dont care, because nowadays its not even an issue.\
@Hennessypapi also, I don't think Corey is what people consider dark skin. Not playing identity politics, just saying
All the colorism goes out the window if the person is attractive. If I had a dollar for every time I heard a woman say to me "I normally don't like light skin dudes but..."![]()
Things bout to get interesting
When it comes to dating alot of times yeahColorism simply is in basic terms " I can't get the guy I want so I'll blame my skin tone and him for not liking me ".

One could argue that Colorism/Featurism birthed these personal insecurities and inferiority/superiority complexes.colorism is real and it's Important to be aware of it. However, personal insecurities and inferiority complexes got mixed into the debate and poisened the discussion.
