2. Listen to me. Seriously. You don't know everything, as evidenced by most of your posts on here. I HAVE FRIENDS IN POLITICS. You're not going to get hired to work for anyone without a bachelors at a minimum. And you want to become Scott Walker? Thats super rare. That does not happen for black candidates. You should play to win, not just to play. You have no connections. You have no business success. You have nothing that would inspire anyone to vote for you and no real credentials.
A bachelors at a minimum may get you a local political seat, but very local, and you'd need the support of your community which is hard if you live in a large city, and have no credentials (business, academic, etc.) or no money to inspire confidence.
You hate politics? Well you have to play the game, to change the game. And right now, you're not equipped.
Moving there with family and to find work & community college that's it. It's too stressful being here with my parents and etc. Too much drama with them.
Sorry, I don't want to be a corporate politician. That's not my forte and I'm not going to go broke when I can get a bachelors years from now.
Breh, I seriously hope you don't believe this. Politics and money are practically tied together. You may certainly turn campaign money down, but the guy running against you won't.
You don't have to "go broke" but if you had the academic chops, money wouldn't be an option.

Chances are, that education will help you. Hell, it'll allow you to network even further than you'd get without it.
Don't be stubborn.
If you're dead set on the AA degree, I would do something more practical like some type of trade. At least you would be qualified for a job and stack up money while you pursue your political career.

How you gonna play the game of politics without knowing the rules of the game?
You want to help the people right? How can you help them if you don't understand what policies need to be changed, how they can be changed, and the legal protocol of your state
Not just that, but a Law degree provides skills which are essential for a job in politics: such as critical analysis, interpretating ideas and using them to convey and formulate your argument
