I know everyone on the Coli has 10 certs and makes 6 figures, but for us regular people how much is considered enough to live an upper middle class (:mjpls:) type lifestyle? There are some jobs that I'm looking at that pay 60k yearly, I guess that's good for a 26 year old but I wonder if its worth spending 2 more years (and more money that I don't have) getting a master's degree in order to get those 80-100k jobs?

So what do you Coli brehs pull in yearly? Is it enough? Discuss.

Its all about location. You can make 60k in ATL or Charlotte and feast like a king. It will get you a nice 3 bedroom house and enough money left over to take a nice lil stout broad out to simp on. In NYC, San Fran or LA, 65k will get you a studio apartment, some Ramen Noodles and a musty fat white bytch (the average coli trolls real life)

To many factors come into play.

You got people who were raised around money so of course they would probably say a higher amount.

You got people who are poor or grew up poor so they know how to make things work.

Than you got to factor in your expenses, how many kids you got, and location.

I would say 70k would be considered good for most people who are average.

60k or below would work for a lot of people but location, bills and kids might not make it sound all that great.

So 70k to live good.

Word. If you grew up poor than $12 and hour or 40K a year is "paper" but some of us would commit that if we made that kind of paper.

shyt, I find it hard enough being in corporate America knowing that people I work with make $$$$$$$ only because they been around since the 70s

Depends where you live at. And you need to figure out a job that you would enjoy, but where you get to handle your own money. Thats the only way you'll ever be able to get truly comfortable. Cuz as long as you're working for someone else there is a cap on how much money you're gonna be able to get. And what may seem like a lot when you're young isn't gonna be shyt when you're 40 and got a whole village to take care of + you wanna splurge on yourself.

If i was you i would go for the masters degree and also have a side hustle. You get your masters you'll get more money + have more options when you look for a job.
