Underrated Del track, he was only like 18-19 on this album. Basically set off the west coast Native Tongues movement, with him, heiro, souls of mischief, which helped jump start Stones Throw and other west coast underground. Along with the Goodlife Cafe in LA.

Good to see Del getting love on here. His whole discography is too slept on. I feel like his first 3 albums are classics. 4 if you include deltron. Any youngins not familiar need to check ASAP

To some extent Del was Lil Wayne before Lil Wayne.

Next he puts together his own amazing crew.

Then the drugs and the phobias seemed to take a toll and they became recluses at the height of stardom.

I remember watching a Del interview about him dealing with this girl that was trying to force him to become her pimp. I was thinking he was in a whole different world than his Hiero brethren.
