It was HUGE... and I HATED it.
That was my first taste (pause) of Eminem and from that single there was no way of telling that he could actually rap. Especially with the high percentage of caucasians I went to school with... that shyt was just ran into the ground.
90% of the people loved it though - and 30% of those people actually started listening to hip-hop... which is where I came in and cleansed the situation with actual hip-hop content
But personally, it was Without Me. I had gotten used to his extremes and
discovered that he could actually rap prior to this so I had tons of respect for homey by this point.
