its a lot of things, wack lyrics, frauds and fugazi azz niqqas, etc. I think my biggest problem is, I cant stand the production on most of these joints. its all about who is hot, but beats be wack as hell most of the time. lack of originality is huge for me as well. its like if someone coins a phrase or dresses a certain way, they can become a hit....regardless of how their music sounds or what they are talking about. I agree with CaughtinTWebb in that aspect. the fans dont demand much so the standards are about as low as you can get.

These new dudes are certainly talented, they just don't have that quality that makes you want to listen to them.

They're boring as hell, especially for people who always talking about swag.

Like I'd rather listen to some wack shyt by Kanye(I don't consider him to be apart of this group, more like the forefather) or Jay, than a good Big Sean record.

They only good thing about any Big Sean record is the label its on... Boyeeee!

Rapping = a job.

People rap to make money.

Rap is not some romanticized hobby or whatever idea you have in your head.

If that's what niccas are in it for then at least be a master of your fucc'n craft. Even boy on the fryer @ McDonald's csn make them sh*ts fresh and crispy if he needs to

People my age (late 20s) don't necessarily HATE Wayne. They hate this current version of him.

It's a little hard to still check for someone who went from Dedication 2, to a skateboard, lime jeggings, and "skeet skeet skeet, water gun."

I didnt read all the replies in this thread yet but this is quite depressing

I remember every single young nikka thought lil Wayne 2004 was an urban gawd

then fast word 8 years later and this nikka looking like....

It's like Wayne just shat on RAP completely and opened up the fakkitry portal for the youngins

:snoop:

:sadcam::( I don't understand why radio hesitates on releasing good music in the masses anymore. Like they intentionally want people to be simple minded ignoramuses.
I think the younger generation is being rasied and in some way programmed to accept and like mediocre shyt. Its like our society hit a peek and is now regressing. Everything in entertainment is being dumbed down to a point where nothing is really complex or deep or though provoking, it's like once you heard the verse once its no pint to want to hear it again, because you heard and understood everything that is being said and its nothing special.

It was like that post 2000. Cats gradually dumbed down on the quality until we reached the point of pure bullshyt. That conditioning is another reason why cats are forced to be sheep and not question anything.

I like some of these new dudes like drake, J cole is cool, meek is ok, but I know Im in the minority but this kendrick lamar dude I cant get into. I really dont like his voice, yes he can rap compared to these new nikkas but its like now a days eaither you can rap but your beats and hooks are boring or you cant rap but have the most catchy hooks and best beats.. where is the complete rapper? nikkas clown jay z for being old but honestly until somebody comes and is complete as him ( his replacement) I dont mind hearing him rap
