Tips for your 20s Summary

- work toward a career
- dont let fun interfere with responsibilities of learning how you're going to make money. Meaning dont go overboard on drugs, p*ssy and clubbing if your falling behind on mastering your craft.
- make your goals tangible. If every year you're saying *next year im gonna do this* *im about to do this* YOU AINT DOIN shyt!
- the older you get the more losers should be shifted out of your circle.
- keep friends in your circle that are having verifiable success in reaching their goals but dont cut off a homie thats a good friend because hes broke.
- call up your friends and go to dinner to keep the circle tight.
- move away from broke people when your able or stay with your folks and stack chips.
- avoid unprotected sex unless you have confirmed that the box is std free. Dr. Certified. (avoid it in general unless you like children and are comfortable with the thought of your life completely shifting gears towards not having fun) (or if you dont mind aborting your seed and can find a woman who also hates children)
- avoid women that are not on your level and non-goal oriented

You realize that this world is fukked up and there is precious little you can do about it. It will chew you up and spit you out. You will not be an astronaut and it is exceedingly difficult to save money. People are generally shytty and women are generally petty as hell. You realize that nothing is free and you will have to sacrifice to make something of yourself. You will see friends and family die and you will grow to hate the white man if you didn't already. No one will give you the benefit of the doubt especially as a young black man. If you dont already you will come to appreciate the humanity of black peoples as opposed to the virulent cac race.

This has been my life experience to the tee.

it's awesome. just keep your broke times at 20-35% max and you'll be okay. i'm about to be 28 and my early 20's were the best times of my life. make sure you save money because there will be lots of fun opportunities you don't want to miss out on due to being broke. this is the time where you build your networks so make good impressions and enjoy yourself.

I think many of the older people on this board have different experiences than the younger generation. Jobs are much tougher to come by for this generation so even if you're doing what you're supposed to do your upward mobility may be stifled. It's just a lot tougher for this generation aside from your outliers (many of my friends are outliers)

I can't even lie my 20s have been tough…..I chose to really go after my dreams and do music as opposed to going the traditional route of working on wall street, being a lawyer or doctor like most Ivy League students do. I graduated from Wharton at 22 and pretty much just went after my dream. I pretty much love what I do but I'm riddled with debt and I don't really own anything (houses, stocks, investments). I get a lot of work as a DJ but to be honest I've pretty much realized the quality of my life would have been much better had I just gone the traditional route……

It sucks when everyone around you is pretty much rich & you're like . I have progressed every year tho but lately apart of me has been thinking about going back to school to get some other skills so I can get a decent job away from my music/entertainment goals.



One thing I can say is that if you do what you're supposed to, life can and will get better.
I'm in the gym constantly, I look better, feel better at 27 than I did at 20.
You'll definitely lose a lot of friends. I started losing friends in high school when half my friends got into selling drugs, doing drugs all the time……and I was into school, going to work & focusing on my DJ craft. I think as you go to College you'll find that you connect with college friends a lot more.
You can't fall in love with work so much that you forget to kick it and build with your friends regularly. I did that.
Date as many women as you can……..You need to find out what you want. It's so easy to fall in love with the first chick you find.
