What is the root of "bias" against lightskin men?

I don't really have a preference skin tone wise, I do notice that I tend to like men with more color to them. I'm just not into guys that look like slightly tanned white men. I know it may seem weird to some but I'm not attracted to white guys. And when you say lightskin, do you mean Will Smith light or Michael Ealy light? I feel like there is a difference.

When I was single and on the prowl I actually loved it when black girls said shyt like "I dont like light skinned nikkas" "You to light for me". That type of projection usually made it easier to smash. In my experience women who announce their preference for darkskinned nikkas/disdain for lightskin nikkas are almost always full of shyt.
