Plenty of progressives have been critical of SJW phemon: Camille Paglia, Jerry Seinfeld, and Bill Maher for example. Revolutions tend to eat their parents, so it's karma for the left.
What is up with this "SJW" thing? It's become beyond annoying.

I use SJW for only parts of the left. I don't consider myself an SJW, and I'm on the left. It's important to be critical of your "own people" because they're more likely to listen to "their own" than some far right person.

On the Coli being called a militant was not an insult at one point. It was actually something you'd like to be called if you were truly pro black. Then people went overboard and it became a satire of itself. Same thing has happened with SJWs.
On the surface, how is it an insult to be a warrior for social justice? It was a stupid insult but it has come into it's own now because a lot of SJWs are over the top, whiny, ignorant and just a nuisance to deal with. The insulting implications of the term now have a firm and sensible target whereas in the beginning it was a catch all for people actually wanting to do good and not just virtue signal or concern troll over the internet.
Main idea is that terms evolve over time. Like ****** and nikka, right?
