I think it's an open secret...

They probably give the star players "hints" that they gonna get tested while the lower tiered players hope they dont get caught
Ehhh if this was the case a disgruntled player would of been said something .
It’s like others have said ...mainly stuff that hasn’t been banned yet but a strong chance it will be .

The Traps of Unified Korea
All of them
Literally every single last one.

It's funny that so many grown men like to retain hope that literally any of their heroes are "clean".

With everything we know about doping since the dawn of organized, competitive athletics :deadrose:

ESPECIALLY in the last 40-50 years:pachaha:

Y'all still believe in santa claus :russ:

Even thinking it's some dark secret or nefarious backfroom situation is grown men believing in fairy tales.

Every single professional athlete on the planet is using the latest cutting edge human advancement they can get their hands on.

Doping is always years ahead of testing, AND, it is in the best interest of the leagues/governing bodies to not catch people. We've seen this proven time and time again too.

If you believe athletes aren't doping you REALLY have to ask yourself what you're really believing in and why it matters so much to you.

I think a lot of it goes down to sheer ignorance as people still think doping = muscles hence the "BASKETBALL PLAYERS DON'T DOPE MUSCLES DON'T HELP YOU SHOOT" rhetoric despite the fact that the most elaborate doping systems and methods are geared entirely towards stamina, weight control, and recovery.

So Ken Griffey Jr. was cheating this whole time even tho he was never caught or accused?

If you are accusing others of believing in fairy tales then you have to provide some proof that every professional athlete on earth is juicing.

If you have to reach back to a player that started his professional career 31 years ago and has been retired for a decade just to feel safe about bringing up a name to make this point then you're saying more about your stance than mine :francis:

By the time the more advanced forms of doping (hormones and blood doping) started to leak out of Europe and into American sports Griffey was already a shot player.

I don't need to provide proof that all these athletes are doping. Every report, study, and investigation of the last 20 years tells us they are.

It's people that just want to say "but-but what about (x player here)" to feel better (I guess) about any particular athlete and refuse to accept the cold facts about athletics at a whole.

If entire teams, organizations, countries are getting busted for deep and highly sophisticated doping regiments.....why do you believe that the people they are competing against and losing to are clean?

And when it's made clear that the very organizations that are in place to police doping often underreport, aid in the cover up, or just don't report at all to keep up the myth that people like you still hold on to, do you still think the other ones are on the up and up?

Did you know the NBA didn't start testing for HGH until 2010?

Do you think NBA players, with all their need for performance and recovery aids, saw the entire world using HGH all those years and just....weren't using it?

And when they started testing for it, do you think they just stopped and didn't move onto the next medical advancement?

I guess I should say...HOW can you think that?

And that's just one drug in one league.

When these leagues add new substances to their banned lists (which they do constantly, these lists are updated yearly), do you think it's because they discovered a performance enhancer and decided to ban it before its use spread or because the use had already spread and they found about it?

It is willful ignorance to believe the opposite.

Bruh they're not ready for conversations like that. Or why suddenly so many athletes have asthma and need therapeutic use exemptions for regular injections of performance enhancers:hubie:

After what MLB went through the American sports leagues have treated doping like a kiss of death for their ratings and live attendance so the reporting on it is always pushed to the background. It's led to a generation of fans here left ignorant as to what's really happening.

Like genuinely believe American athletes are mostly clean despite the entire world doping.

Y'all in Europe get the weekly doping exposes but in the US whenever they finally HAVE to crack down on doping it's treated like a few renegade bad eggs. It's wild.

I picked Ken Griffey cuz he’s a name everyone assumes is clean in the only sport and era in which we have proof of rampant steroid use. And it was a question anyways...

You started off saying it’s common sense that every athlete is juicing and only a fool would think otherwise so put some names on it since you’re so sure. Steph Curry is using performance enhancing drugs. Kawhi Leonard, Dame Lillard, Patrick Mahomes, Floyd Mayweather all use PEDs.

Even tho they have never been accused we have to assume it’s true by your logic

Floyd very publically was accused of illegal IV usage before his fight with Manny, the very same fight where Manny got exposed for using a therapeutic use exemption to inject toradol :mjlol:

See you literally are searching in your mind for athletes you think are in the clear in your "but-but what about (x player here)" argument and couldn't even list FIVE without stumbling into one who got caught red handed doing something illegal or in a huge intentional legal gray areaf forperformance enhancement (and his opponent was too).

And you still think I'M the one being unreasonable. :mjlol:

Once you get beyond the "THIS GUY IS PROBABLY CLEAN AND OTHERS ARE PROBABLY TOO BECAUSE HE PROBABLY IS" mindset you'll realize doping in sports is systemic and way beyond the means of any association control, and it's in the best interest of the associations that they keep this shyt under wraps.

And the sheer audacity if thinking a fukking football player is clean.

Like the other posters have said, what happened to Peyton's doping scandal? You think he's alone and a renagade doper? What about the Patriots denying TB12s personal doctor access to their facilities? Is he alone, no one else is dipping into questionable advance medicine to beat father time?

You're still thinking athlete by athlete for some reason despite everything telling you it's everyone.

Every time they bust one of these labs that have a client list a mile long and only a few names come out. You think the other names are IT dudes are something? :dwillhuh:
