In spite of the racism and police brutality we've endured here in the US we still live better than any other black diaspora in the world. Seriously, you need to leave this country and experience the world. Most people in the world are dirt poor and don't even have clean water to drink.

Doubt it. This topic will flop. Most Americans aren't interested in traveling.
Listen, I want to have a family one day and I don't want my children to experience this. The Baltimore Riot scared me so bad that the night it happened I couldn't sleep. You know it's bad when 12 year olds start to get killed by the police and indictments don't even happen. You can't compare being dirt poor to racially profiled and OWNING LESS than 1% of American wealth.

OP, assuming you are older than 22 yrs old. for 1000 bucks you can get a round trip ticket to most African nations and you can go to most Caribbean countries for less than 800.

Thats 38-30 bucks per pay check (assuming you get paid 2 times in a month).

From the amount of threads you have made in a yr you could have caught a flight somewhere and gotten the vibe yourself.
I sad in the OP I'm 21.

Yeah, but in a time where Hispanics are moving up in this country and we are stagnant...................................... Again you are using strawmans please don't derail the thread.

If you're a darkskin breh then the US is your best option. There might be some African country I don't know about with a growing economy but I haven't done any research on that.

If you're light skin you can probably move to South America and pass as one of the locals (obviously you're going to have to learn Spanish) and live well.

Sounds fukked up but it is what it is.

I wouldn't say broke, but I just got started on the job force 8 months ago and I have a 10k loan to pay off. However :jawalrus: there's room for improvement for my bank account.

All Im going to say is get some skills before you plan on going where ever you decide to go. Because with no skills you will be useless overseas and useless in America. Running away from the problems of America is pathetic because no where on this planet is problem less for blacks. Its one thing if you have obtained some resources here and want to go elsewhere to build, but if you dont have anything here you not going to have anything elsewhere.

I'm actually saving up money to move to either Trinidad or Costa Rica since it's cheap to live there. The police brutality going on in the states is very worrisome. I live in NYC where I can't even walk 2 miles without having a cop harass me. There is a girl here in the coli who lives in Trinidad. I think @Giselle is her name not sure. You can get a place in Tobago for $500 a month.

Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, pretty much any Caribbean country except Haiti(don't get wrong I love my Haiti people but I heard the earthquake set y'all back a lot and you're still in a rebuilding stage).

Yeah the Caribbean might be a good bet. As long as your income is US/internet-based you can live like a king in any of those countries. The dollar goes long.
