Thanks. I'm worried about servicing them. If I could have I would have changed to all miele package.
:hhh: Miele? They make a fantastic dishwasher and washer/dryer, but for cooking/refrigeration, you picked absolutely right, bruh. That SubZero probably got 2 compressors that are built to last 10+ years without a service. There aint much else to them, so they'll last 30 years easily, which is what you want if they are built-in. shyt, you probably got a SZ service center 5 miles away unlike Miele. Wolf thermal cooking is the pinnacle nowadays. Bluestar is possibly the only one better. Nah, you picked correct....your shyt is super nice.

I liked the design of the miele range and the fridge and the dishwasher is great of course. Also the maintenance seems cheaper. I'm happy with what we have though. Just gotta get an undercounter microwave now.

They're all good, but understand nearly all of their models are designed to be built into cabinets. If you have an American standard home with a cabinet cutout about 73" tall and 40" wide, you can only look for a freestanding unit. Miele makes freestanding units that will fit that space. The only real freestanding unit that SZ makes is the Pro 48 in my avatar. It's like 84" tall and 48" wide and weighs 800lbs. It also only has a 22-23 cubic foot capacity, but is counter depth. That unit is about $18K with all options.

:yeshrug:Hey, I look at is as if you can afford the appliances, you can afford the maintenance. As I said, you'll only be worried about compressor problems or maybe an igniter on the stove anyway really. Are you doing a range top, cooktop, or full range/oven type setup?

It’s all good and congrats on the crib. Depending on the manufacturer, you can get the pedestals heavily discounted at like a Sears Outlet. Most of them are universal fit across the models in the same manufacturer. I’m front load gang all the way. I got the pedestals cause me and the wife are tall and they make a huge difference...hardly any bending over. Keep the door open on the washer after use and a quick wipe of the seal on the bottom and zero issues.

I owe you a rep!

Looked at a big direct place who have them for $150 , I can’t use them because I’m short and have a top loader but my cousin can!

Someone once told me that it's good idea to stay on brand with all of your appliances. Supposed to help with resale value of your home/and or appliances.
Not a super big deal but if you can afford it and are getting everything at once, get just one brand and color scheme for all of them.
