What is so big about WU Tang in 2016?

i never once said they are huge in 2016... they ain't even going gold in 2016 so nah, you won't catch me saying that


what i said was, they are bigger than bone in 2016... where if you lined up 4 of the biggest names in wu, they'd be more recognizable than the 4 members of bone

if you looked into what each member is doing in wu, it'd be more than what bone is doing

if you looked up other things like movies, clothing, touring.... wu would be doing more on all 3 fronts

if you looked at something like "best group of all time" in ANY media, ANY where, wu would be over bone

Bone still touring worldwide. Bone selling gear. Vibe did a fan voted best group since 93 and Bone beat Wu in the finals. Bone and Wu basically at the same in this stage in their careers.

I think the fact that alot of Wu members created better and longer solo careers than Bone helps their "GOAT group" status. I mean, I like more solo songs from Wu members than actual songs of theirs as a group. Would choose Bone as a group because I still listen to them heavy.

i think the biggest thing about this discussion is geography..its rly that simpele...had bone did what they did in NYC and no clevland itd be diff...but they didnt.....im from the midwest..out here growing up and today bone is much more bumped...but i went to school in tri state and that isnt the case

Three great group albums.

The solo albums are practically group albums anyway, just guised as 'solo' albums for business purposes and to infiltrate different markets by assigning various members to different record labels. But let's call them solo albums. Far superior to Bone solos.

The only argument y'all have is sales, and that isn't taken seriously in hip hop circles. Even then, Wu-Tang as a brand has survived the test of time and Bone hasn't.
