I've watched many videos with Akala & he's a well spoken bruh; especially in regards to Black issues. But this video kinda puts to rest the reason Wu is not only better but were bigger than Bone
Watch from 2:20-4:35
man you upped this thread, just to post a video of some foreign fakkit.
lol @ wutang being the first rap group go beyond the black community and not use hooks.
Had you watched the video instead of talking out of your ass as usual you'd see the point. But you're also biased in regards to Bone
obviously I watched the video, seeing that I'm quoting stuff that he said.
I'm not biased at all.
clearly, youre the one with the bias. your bias is blinding you from even reading my posts & communiticating with me properly.
Way easier to do when u all signed to no limit. Try again whth major signed artists. And no bullshyt stickers saying "also on this record: mystikal!"
Bone had more sales because their shyt was more accessible because them nikkas were singing half the time--they had appeal to people who weren't just rap fans who literally didn't understand what they were saying--but they bought the albums because the harmonies sounded good. Wu-Tang didn't have that sort of accessibility with their music because the shyt was too grimy and hard. This would explain the differences in album sales in my opinion.
However, growing up, I heard Wu EVERYWHERE in the streets, but then again I grew up in a place where east coast hip hop was all that existed in the minds of the populace. Bone Thugs was only really heard on TV/radio, and it was the kind of music mothers were listening to.
All this being said, Wu-Tang has left a greater legacy in hip hop over time, imo. If you walked down the street and asked ten 45 year old white women about Bone Thugs and Wu-Tang, I bet you that more of them would recognize Wu-Tang's name than Bone Thugs and Harmony (unless you started singing Crossroads).
In recent times, ASAP Rocky gave Bone brief relevance due to his brilliant music. Like 3-6 Mafia, Bone are a forgotten group that nobody really gives a fukk about unless you've got some sorta coastal insecurity. Their discogs are trash and they easily fade into obsolescence until a far better rapper adapts their style, outdoes them on some Biggie shyt, and shouts them out. Rocky did them all a favor![]()
There was no singing on bones first two albums bro, stfu, how u say to ask ten 45 year old women about bone or wu? Nikka really?
Lol bruh he was suckin dikk so hard on them nikkas lol he collapse krayzie's lung. Without 36 and bone your boyfriend would be non existent.
