The quiet type.
Edit: he rarely talked to us, me and my siblings. But he cared. Don't think he knew how to express that. We watched alot of movies together. Guess he gave me my whole style now that I think of it. Don't think he was able to relate to us cause of the generational gap. Come to think of it, why did my parent even have kids?
Nikka you was an accident. :russ:

Grew up with stepfather, father was in L.A.

Didn't learn much from either.

Divorced from my mother now, wasn't exactly an "upstanding husband"...

Stepfather was okay, but he was more of a good "provider" than anything. Constantly co-signing my mother's bullshyt, but cool for the most part. A day with just him in the house would be considered an "aight" day...

Father is okay, he's a cop in California now. From what I was told, he was extremely abusive and strict with my mother, as well as my step-siblings. Never was like that towards me, but then again I didn't exactly grow up around him

Funny thing about him. After me, he had 2 boys and a girl (1 of the boys is a stepchild). They've all grown up....now he done turned around and had 2 MORE boys and a girl (oldest about 11 or so)....

He seems aight, he's just...well, "him." He has his ways I suppose....

Not really "angry" at either of them. Never was really the emotional daddy issues type. I just never really looked up to either of them...

So a good dad then. He was a net positive. Gave you money and never hit you out hurt you. :yeshrug:
naw he hit me, once because when i was 13 because my mom told him to. and i have a distant memory of the phrase "I'm a give you something to cry about" in his voice, so he's definitely hit me before.

it could be worse, not by much though.
