The OG barcade started in Williamsburg.

Which reminds me, there's a spot on myrtle me and my boys go to called Gotham...they have Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 there...
I visited Williamsburg in 2013

Unfortunately most cities cannot sustain arcades. When I look at the current pro players, many of them go to the East Coast (NYC) or the West Coast (California) because that is where the greatest concentration of pro players are (better training partners, more rivals) and the last remnant of arcades still exist. Many people stream from their bedrooms but the streams from arcades are the best. Plus many of the South Korean and Japanese pro players still have an arcade scene in the cities. So they level up from home and still do the old-fashioned man-to-man leveling up that can only be done in person. And many of those South Korean and Japanese pros are the best players in their respected games. Go figure.

Arcades were ratchet as fukk. Hella illegal shyt went down in them. I used to go to the old arcade that used be in the back of the food court at Greenbriar Mall in SW Atlanta. Wasn't too much video game playing, just nikkas catching plays and broads selling p*ssy. Somebody got murked in that one and they had to close it down
:banderas: I used to go there on Sundays after getting dragged to World Changer's Center. You should've just come to the Cobb Galleria and hit the arcade inside in front of the theatre.
