But burning up and ransacking shyt, even if they are the wrong targets probably accomplishes alot more in the long run, then doing nothing at all or participating in some wack ass "peace march" like them sucka ass nickas in NY & Florida. :manny:

I wouldn't say that the 92 L.A riots accomplished all that much.
Police in L.A. and all across the country are still brutalizing (and in some cases killing) citizens, cops are more stormtroopers than protecting and serving in poor urban areas.
Riots draw attention but it is negative attention more than positive.

How are they fighting injustice tho?

All they are doing is justifying the government in spending more tax money on the military industrial complex.

Girls stealing weave & Guys stealing rims.....

Who would think about getting free rims for their car over the death of Michael Brown?

Yo....

Shut the fukk up. What do you want them to do... sit around and pretend that action isn't needed... just because .5% of people will act ignorant during the riot?

They only thing they can do better is to find out who the cop is and do something horrific, I mean that's just one worthless cac.... but it would serve as an example.

Preventive measures.... if the riots die down but the community isnt more unified and supportive afterward... is the only way riots are worthless.

Some of these looters are just opportunists who just wanted to destroy someone else's business and use this as an excuse. You think all these theives care about what happened? Not all of them, some know what goes down after an incident like this and use it as a front for something they wanted to do in the first place.

Now if they really had some balls or at least gave a shyt, they'd take over government buildings, police stations, and courts, not some shop owned by someone that's just tryna get by just like these rioters. The fukk did they do to be in the receiving end of "justice"?

If they are really about that life they can try looting a police station.

To be honest...looting often goes hand-in-hand with rioting. It's that defiance coupled with the feeling of immunity. The ultimate :pacspit: at the police for a lot of these youths is smashing and robbing shyt and the police not being able to do anything. :blessed:

Also who is the type to riot? and what areas do riots usually take place in?.....exactly...poor disenfranchised people. Of course they'll loot. They're broke

Remember London? You had the working classes (NOT black...but all working class) just tearing up shyt.

These people don't really own anything in their neighbourhoods.

After the Oscar Grant situation and the rioting that followed ALONG with the bodybagging of a handful of cops made the Oakland PD fall back. :ehh:

Sometimes people have to vent. At least it's property damage and not people getting hurt. Most of these businesses are not owned by people living in that community anyway.

Sometimes people get tired of marching, singing and protesting.

Rioting accomplishes nothing.

This story was getting national attention before any rioting started. So, there's no need to raise awareness.

Perpetuating Black criminality and funneling yourself or members of an already victimized minority into the criminal justic system is only helping the police do what they were already doing.

Build something.

Another generic violence is not the answer post. Keep being weak and passive. Go hold hands and sing hymns.

In France the black/North African Arab youth shut down Paris after the cops racially profiled and ultimately were responsible for the death of 3 youths. NOTHING close to Mike Brown. They shut Paris the fukk down.

2005 French riots
In the October and November 2005, a series of riots by mainly Arab, North African, and black French second-generation immigrants occurred in the suburbs of Paris and other French cities,[1][2] involving mainly the burning of cars and public buildings at night starting on 27 October 2005 in Clichy-sous-Bois. Events spread to poor housing projects (the cités HLM) in various parts of France. A state of emergency was declared on 8 November 2005. It was extended for three months on 16 November by the Parliament.[3][4][5]
Triggering event

Areas of Rioting in the Paris region as of 1 November
Citing two police investigations, The New York Times reported that the incident began at 17:20 on Thursday, 27 October 2005 in Clichy-sous-Bois when police were called to a construction site to investigate a possible break-in. Three teenagers, thinking they were being chased by the police, climbed a wall to hide in a power substation. Six youths were detained by 17:50. During questioning at the police station in Livry-Gargan at 18:12, blackouts occurred at the station and in nearby areas. These were caused, police say, by the electrocution of two boys, Zyed Benna and Bouna Traoré; a third boy, Muhittin Altun, suffered electric shock injury from the power substation they were hiding in.[6][7]
"According to statements by Mr. Altun, who remains hospitalized with injuries, a group of ten or so friends had been playing football on a nearby field and were returning home when they saw the police patrol. They all fled in different directions to avoid the lengthy questioning that youths in the housing projects say they often face from the police. They say they are required to present identity papers and can be held as long as four hours at the police station, and sometimes their parents must come before the police will release them." - NY Times[6]
There is controversy over whether the teens were actually being chased. The local prosecutor, François Molins, said that although they believed so, the police were actually after other suspects attempting to avoid an identity check.[8] Molins and Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy maintained that the dead teenagers had not been "physically pursued" by the police. This is disputed by some: The Australian reports, "Despite denials by police officials and Sarkozy and de Villepin, friends of the boys said they were being pursued by police after a false accusation of burglary and that they "feared interrogation".[citation needed]
This event ignited pre-existing tensions. Protesters told The Associated Press the unrest was an expression of frustration with high unemployment and police harassment and brutality. "People are joining together to say we've had enough", said one protester. "We live in ghettos. Everyone lives in fear."[9] The rioters' suburbs are also home to a large, mostly North African, immigrant population, allegedly adding religious tensions, which some commentators believed contribute further to such frustrations. However, according to Pascal Mailhos, head of the Renseignements Généraux (French intelligence agency) radical Islamism had no influence over the 2005 civil unrest in France.[10]
