Left Eye didn't achieve more her GROUP did. Which was an R&B group btw. Left Eye was a part time rapper. She never had the respect as an MC that Lyte did even after she died

I mean, I wouldn't rank her over mc lyte as a rapper, but if we're being really real and use the same metric system that we supposedly do for everything else, you cant dismiss left eye.

left eye actually wrote her own raps, and she was killin chit most of the time. not to mention, she outshined almost every rapper she hopped on a track with(female AND male).....and that's including lyte, latifah, etc.

fast forward to '95; left eye outshined mc lyte, queen latifah, and every other female rapper that was on that panther song. all 20 of em, and it wasn't even close.
