This is the life of the avg joe:yeshrug:

I was the same way
Yeah. And the thing is...it’s funny how you see the same things from different perspective when u age. I didn’t see the dynamics at play when I could have capitalized on it the most (high school)

One other thing I noticed. People who are among the exceptional. Very rarely do they not have direction by their mid teens. Don’t listen to people..when they tell you you got time to figure out what career path you want to have. Yeah. Maybe for the AVERAGE lifestyle, but the true winners almost always know what lane they are in by 16. Whether it’s money music puzzy whatever. I knew I was in trouble when I was out here at 23 like “wtf do I wanna be when I grow up :dwillhuh:

Most people of all races are two faced.

Never to get involved in another man or woman's relationship because it almost always ruins friendship. Y'all can cheat on each other and stay in an extremely toxic relationship if you want, I'm staying out of it.

Never eat or drink at a random restaurant unless you can literally see them as they make your food or have access to their kitchen and storage. Most restaurant is a food hygiene disaster

Being alone is far better for your health and sanity than being in a relationship with someone who nags constantly and relentlessly.

Success and promotion at the workplace is much more dependent on personality and being on great terms with the right people than being competent or hardworking.

Never take any reviews of places, movies, restaurant etc as gospel. I have been left disappointed too many times "but everyone told me this movie was amazing:francis::mjcry:" each individual's opinion is unique. I have had horrible experiences in places with hugely popular reputation (Paris, Tokyo) while having a great time in some unpopular destinations (Moscow)

This is some great advice.

I don't care how bad she is. If she's living with another dude and trying to give you the ass, stay away.

I started talking to one of my classmates because I've been on some anti-social ish. We're chopping it up and she shows me her Snapchat with about 5 unopened messages and 3 nikkas she left on read. Her IG? nikkas in her DM's offering to smell her farts for a chance at eye contact with her. She also convinced her ex-in real time-to buy her a $500 Tiffany necklace, while also bragging that she doesn't even fukk him anymore and cheated on him. I thought simps and simping was exaggerated but man what a pathetic showing.
Oh, and being broke translates to almost every other part of life :mjcry:
That's not her fault

Blame the bytch made nikkas that enable her and her behaviour

if nikkas were solid and kept it 10 toes down all this nonsense would stop

Look out for number one. Bend over backwards for yourself only and you will benefit tremendously. You'll end up with plenty left to share with others.

However, if you go out of your way for other people first, you'll always be behind the 8-ball.

Most people gravitate towards those who agree with their views and opinions and really don't want to hear the opposing view points. These types of people are looking for a safe space where everyone views things the same as them and they can discuss these views with back and forth agreement (whether that's politics, rap, sports, music). It's all some people can handle.

Age does not equal wisdom.

I've met too many folks twice my age who are useless in life. Made me realize that you could hit age 90 and still know nothing.

But I listen to their tales because sometimes you learn what not to do.

-----------

I should have fought harder in high school for myself. Feels like I'm playing catch up and I'm 27 :francis:

We're human. When we were babies, we were all babbling, shytting on ourselves, kicking on our backs, drooling, crying, clueless about the world, innocent and etc. Underneath all that growth over time, lies vulnerability which never leaves. No matter who you are, what you've done and etc, your vulnerability is what makes you human. It's a part of your mortality so really... when we try to play tough, act like we aren't hurt, don't get emotional, act like we can't be broken, what are we trying to prove?
